Personally, I like Shogunyan, Damona, Snartle, and Wobblewok, even if the last one isn't playable until the second game.
Appak is amazing overall. Agon hits like a runaway 18-wheeler, and Miropa's ability has saved my hide multiple times.
Also, I beat the Boss a few days ago. Team was Appak, Thornyan, Venoct, Agon, Koromane, and Miropa. Would have loved to keep Ratelle, but i needed Miropa's ability to survive.
Seems one of the actual main reasons why Yokai Watch isn't selling as well as it should be in North America is mainly the battle system. The majority of Yokai Watch's Hate Dom seems to be Hate Dumb (Mainly from ignorant American gamers who don't even know anything about Yokai Watch except that it is selling very well in Japan, enough to compete with Pokemon there, and thus see it is a threat to Pokemon and bash it without even trying or researching the game, despite the huge differences between the games and why they do well in their respective markets), though, not hate because of any actual flaws of the game itself.

The major two complaints I've heard about the game are the battle system and the RNG of recruting Yokai.
I can atest to this; It took me days with the best possible compatiable food in the game to recruit Happierre, who not only was the last piece to unlock a hidden yokai, but also required to finish a side quest :/
Yo-kai Watch 3 launches July 16 in Japan with Sushi and Tempura versions. That doesn't look like stereotypical American food to me.
Hopefully the games will do well enough for the other games in the franchise to be localized. Really want to play Yo-Kai Watch Busters.
Yokai Watch 2 is coming out in North America in September 30th!
With titles like those i wonder how well they'll sell. XD
Any chance of the third version of 2 coming out which had extra content?
The Protomen enhanced my life.Based on what I have seen of Yo-Kai Watch 2, it seems to be a major improvement over the first game. Hopefully this game will sell much better and encourage localization of the other games.
2 trailer.
They might have implied Busters could make it over, but it was vague enough that I wouldn't see it as a confirmation. The Busters gameplay they showed on the E3 stream did look fun.
The Twitch chat in that stream was just horrible, and the Youtube comments on that video are also horrible. By the way, Yokai Watch 1 apparently did much better in Europe than North America which might be one of the reasons why they are they are bringing 2 over, but I can't find the European sales of it.

The Busters stuff is one of the biggest things I'm looking forward to. So glad this is coming over.
By the way, any idea how they'll handle the whole linking games to get the Onis or the "Shin'uchi" version?
Also, Nintendo seems to be hinting Busters is coming to North America too.
It didn't sell badly in NA. 400K for a new JRPG IP is great. Underwhelming for the amount of advertising Nintendo put in sure, but in reasonable terms it did okay. It does seem to be doing better in Europe though. Not surprised personally.
With the success of Pokemon Go, I just had the best/worst idea:
Go-kai Watch.
Weird creatures living in random places is a Yokai kinda thing too XD plus it fits into the lore of the series since you can only see them through a special lens.
The Protomen enhanced my life. The official website for 2 is out: http://yo-kai.nintendo.com/yw2/
Video going over the exclusive Yokai in each version of 2. Light spoilers.
I'm getting Bony Spirits. Anyone else decided on which version they're getting?
The demo is out, in case nobody knows yet.
I think I'm going to go with Bony Spirits. Still curious on how they're going to handle the updated rerelease.
Assuming the first two versions of 2's sales are enough to even bring it over.

Two days left until 2 releases.
Releasing April 29 in Europe. Maybe France will treat it well.
So what's everyone's favorite Yokai? I'm fond of Rattelle and Appak.
