Little extra joke thrown in.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSo that means it will get an English dub as well.
But from the original Studiopolis cast? Or a Cup of Tea cast like Revolution?
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Square Enix to announce launch dates for 2018 titles between April and June.
Expect Octopath Traveler and DQXI release dates during that time.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Has anybody on here played the Switch version of Rocket League? I want something to tide me over until Christmas.
Reaction Image RepositoryI wonder if we're finally going to get a proper title for Octopath.
I have. Single player is rather fun, but I haven't played enough MP to give a verdict on that side.
Personally, I'd say yes, it's a good buy.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownI've seen that the game does take a fairly serious hit to visuals in portable mode, but the performance seems fine and there's room for optimisation.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectEh, that doesn't make a whole lot of difference for me as long as it's playable.
Reaction Image Repositoryx4 There's a very real chance we won't. This might end up like a Hyrule Warriors situation where the working title becomes so well-known that they just shrug and make it the official name.

This song needs more love.To be fair, Hyrule Warriors (and FE Warriors, for that matter) does follow previously established patterns for names of Dynasty Warriors games.
As for Project Octopath Traveler... bets that the final name simply gets rid of the "Project" part? Seriously, Octopath Traveler makes more sense than Bravely Default...
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownHyrule Warriors is pretty self-explanatory and wasn't really in need of changing. Octopath Traveller does a terrible job of explaining what it's actually about or its themes.
There are 8 paths to travel.
It bears repeating that this is the team that came up with the name Bravely Default.
This song needs more love.At least 'Bravely Default' has actual words. 'Octopath' I feel is unique, but a bit TOO obviously Engrish. Just keep 'Traveller' in there, and make the 8 paths things a sub title.
'Travellers' Saga: The Eight Paths' or something, I dunno.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI doubt they're going to change the name now. They've already called it Octopath Traveler too long, with a lot of attention from a demo under the name as well. I forgot that it was even supposed to be a working title. Changing the name now would likely just cause confusion and loss of sales.
They might give it a sub title or make Octopath Traveler the sub-title.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I oppose any suggestions to get rid of "Octopath." Everything else is fair game.
More info about Valkyria Chronicles 4:
I kind of like the name Ocotopath Traveler at this point.
Sure it's improper grammatically, but it certainly is unique.
I have no problem with inventing new words for the names of video games, and I don't see why anyone else does. Don't see anyone complaining about Pokemon being a portmanteau of Pocket Monster, so why not octo as a prefix to path?

I honestly feel like "Octopath" is fairly comprehensible. It's a game with eight paths. It's also no worse than "Xenoblade", to be honest.
Honestly, if they want to make a franchise, it should be the Octopath franchise, with Travelers or whatever being the subtitle. Have the gimmick of this and any future installments be the "8 different story modes with 8 different protagonists set in the same world at the same time" thing. Octopath: Travelers can be the first game.

The first things I think of with "Octopath" are something in an aquatic/navy setting, like Octo-dad, or the eight-way run movement system from the Soul Calibur series.
I figured it had something to do with octopuses.
You had me reading that as "PS 4/XBO/NSFW" for a moment. o_O
