Alright, I'm seeing two branches of the Ashen Empire's abilites. They are both Avengers and Companions. The more allies around them, the more effective their support skills are due to Companion branch, while the more dead allies around them, the harder they fight, since they are Avengers.
I suppose that can also translate into them being calmer and more focused with allies, with them becoming enraged & less focused as people die. Yeah that's fine, though Kingdoms will mostly only end up fighting when a Monster Army attacks or another Kingdom attacks them/vise versa.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."So does anyone want an alliance with Plazerra?
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI could see the Alephians being all buddy buddies with the Plazerrans, I'd support an alliance.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Cool, let's do it.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI wouldn't say an alliance, but definitely having some sort of giant Gambling community considering the selfish nature of both countries.
I'll begin the roleplay when we get a few more applications. In the mean time, feel free to make suggestions about what kind of Abilities your characters should acquire.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Definitely lots of high-power, firey things for Alice.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertFor Jacques I think his main things would be status ailments, traps, and movement enhancement, Like Kklut suggested, with a two or three big heavy "one-shot-kill" things
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Jania will not be very keen on the whole fighting thing, so acceleration of herself and slowing down the enemy will probably be her biggest assets. Also, I don't believe I've mentioned this, but she's a gambler so if you can find some way to fit that in her skillset somehow that'd be awesome.
Oh, by the way, Nobody that's been accepted has any links to gambit huh? Anyone have any suggestions? I mean, surely, a kingdom that has no rulers is sure to spark the interest of other kingdoms. Especially one with basically a monopoly on gambling.
My issue with it is that I'm divided with the Alephians declaring protection of them out of curiosity/pity/admiration or Them looking at Gambit, seeing things that brought down the previous two empires being rampant in gambit, going "NOPE" and ignoring them.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Y'know, I'm not quite sure if Gambit's even okay with a protection declarance. I think a truce would be more fitting, or trade routes in some manner.

trade routes and a truce could be fine.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.I hope we can get enough players to get this up in the air. It sure as hell is a damn interesting concept.
This. Where are all the other submittees?! #RP Hype
Twitchin' Dem' Gamez.Really, I hope that this thing does happen. The thought of running an empire sounds...intriguing.
Sorry not having started this yet, been pondering life, the universe and everything these past days. That and playing Type-0 along with watching television. Anyways, if I were to start the roleplay (it would begin in your Trial and thus before seeing your kingdom) who would be ready to post?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Me.

The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Oh hey me
Okay then, I'll start the roleplay later on today. I should note, the opening post would describe one general area yet none of your characters would actually see each other.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Also here and ready! I swear! >_>
Twitchin' Dem' Gamez.Sorry about the shortness of the opening post, aside from being a pretty place the Realm of Trials doesn't have much to describe. The pink cloud aspect I will admit to getting from Big Hero 6. Besides that, with your first posts feel free to pretty much introduce your character. The voiceless voice won't really respond if you ask it a question when it doesn't offer to answer any though.
Oh, and when you do approach the three columns they will crumble into pedestals holding a weapon or object you associate with the following: Power, Defense, and Mind. Well, that general theme anyways.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
Well, since the Signups is already a short summary of what to expect, I'll just say this instead: Use the Discussion Thread to plan out your Kingdom, provide in-depth information, and ask questions. I'll also be adding lists of Monsters as they appear and the Abilities of each player as they're earned.
