amiibos!: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Give Nintendo My Money

If I can snag Mewtwo and/or Ike this year I will be happy.

I got Jigglypuff yesterday.

I now altered my arrangement of amiibos. They're based on when they debuted in the Smash series (thus, Inkling Girl is dead last):

• Shelf 1: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu
• Shelf 2: Luigi, Captain Falcon, Ness, Jigglypuff, Bowser, Peach, Zelda
• Shelf 3: Marth, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Wario, Meta Knight, Pit, Olimar
• Shelf 4: Diddy Kong, King Dedede, Ike, Lucario, Sonic, Mega Man, Little Mac
• Shelf 5: Greninja, Pac Man, Lucina, Shulk, Dark Pit, Inkling Girl

Well, the good news is that Mewtwo can actually be pretty easy to find if you look in the right places, and Gamestop is restocking Mr. "Fight For My Friends".

I'm actually considering getting Ike myself if I come across him at a Gamestop...

Obviously it will be a Landmaster amiibo

If they make a Land Master amiibo, it better be big enough to place a Fox / Falco on top of it!

Better yet, make it have a specific indent/slot designed to hold another amiibo in place.

My "top of the wish list" amiibo are Mewtwo, Lucas, and Pit. I'm hoping I'll have time to get to Mewtwo in the next day or so.

Falco has shipped yesterday. Since I have a Best Buy that's a 5-10 minute drive away from me, he'll likely arrive today.

...I don't think that's how it works. These things usually come from distribution centers in my experience. Might take a day or two.

Yeah, it says by Wednesday it'll be delivered.

Basically, that's the estimate.

EDIT: Checked the tracking, it says it's currently in Ohio. So yeah, tomorrow-Wednesday.

Incidentally, my dad and I don't have to go to school on Wednesday (My dad's a teacher's aid at one of our elementary schools). Basically today and Tuesday are our only school days.

I don't think anyone is really taking it as you all being some Littlest Cancer Patient contemplating their existence.

That thing some pages back was just a passing thought. One about thinking too deep into phrases.

Eh, "wish list" is an even older phrase that's more precise for these purposes. I'll stick with that.

Got Falco earlier today.

Funny enough, after opening him, I played some of Star Fox Assault.

Every time I imagine a voice for the Star Fox cast, Assault's voices pop into my head.

Modern Mario ordered online. Because screw Black Friday.

At least now I can finally get some sleep.

The 3-packs seem to be rather easy to come by in my town, too bad I don't have money for them.

Oh, my parents were able to recognize who Falco is because they have played Star Fox with me years ago.

I'm guessing demand has evened out a lot, lately. I actually saw Animal Crossing characters, the 8-bit Mario in both colour palettes, and the ROB/Game & Watch/Duck Hunt three pack at EB Games yesterday. Also, I was just looking online for Fire Emblem characters, and while they're still more expensive than MSRP, they're actually in a range I'd be willing to pay now.

Marth is up for sale online at Best Buy. For how much? Nine bucks.

And to think I spent $28 on this guy...

Got him. Thank goodness, now that just leaves Villager, Samus and Kirby for Wave 1.

I actually saw Marth and Falco while we were at Best Buy for Black Friday shopping.

Although I was looking for 2 things that I couldn't get because they weren't on sale: Either Majora's Mask 3D or the Blu-Ray of Inu Yasha: The Final Act. (Though Amazon has the DVD edition for cheaper)

Just got Falco off Best Buy. So that means I got all the recent Smash amiibos.

The Animal Crossing amiibo are all so sickeningly cute.

Isabelle yesterday, Digby today.

Meanwhile Ness still eludes me.

Looking into it further, I see why the price has come down.

A Lot of sellers are importing them from Japan, which is driving the price down. :P

I can't find Robin or Lucina anywhere locally...

Does any place import to the mystical northern lands located vaguely Norse by Norsewest? How much would it be?

For Black Friday I got Mewtwo, Ike, and the Mii Fighters. My local Toys "R" Us, meanwhile, had a crap ton of Villagers in stock.
