Until he becomes a flat out cannibal, Yecotis cannot develop a similar power to Wendigo's Base Ability. In addition, the Symbiotes will generally develop powers from prominent things in your mind. Thus one cannibalistic meal won't cut it, and even if you do develop a cannibalism superpower the Symbiote will only augment it as you eat more people (so it'll remain unchanged if you don't eat anyone). So cherry picking Hosts as your prey means you won't get Wendigo's power, though you might develop a Host Sense instead.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Yeah, I was figuring he would be like a Host-hunter for whoever he ultimately joins with. He would only ever eat the Hosts and their Symbiotes anyways.
Saint LaughterI admit, I feel kinda bad actively asking for 'Other' to help after you just got done saying you didn't expect to need to post for awhile Kkutwar, but that's really just what Martin would do in this situation; no way around it. And I wouldn't feel right hijacking a character from you. I really hope it's not being a bother.
Yeah, we either run away or put it down and Yecotis is gonna keep at it too.
Saint LaughterI admit, I honestly didn't even consider 'Other' (probably because they don't officially have a name yet). In that case, for the time being I'll only post for stuff I need to do, such as writing Bear's character. Was there anyone else I forgot to mention, or was it just Bear?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Emily is out and about somewhere isn't she?

Saint LaughterUh, anything Penny is likely to say in Susie's flat would be nice.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Sorry for the late posting, been watching some recordings so I could delete them to make space. Susie and Haile can either work out their own plot thread for now, or I can try hooking them with one.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Okay, so I think Gordon and Yecotis can totally take on the Dragon Knight.
Saint LaughterHonestly, I'm not sure there's really any available plot that we can pick up on ATM. I'd prefer it if you gave us plot, assuming Gob agrees.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertYeah, some kind of plot to investigate would be good since we don't know all that much about this universe.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Maybe Yecotis should have gone to the slums.
Saint LaughterSo you can destroy Susie's flat?
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”That would have brought the "Characters with a destroyed house" count up to 3, which... Might not be that good, actually.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertYecotis has an apartment you know.
Saint LaughterWell, the universe as a whole is similar to ours in history and society (though some events might be wholly unique). I've mostly been allowing you guys to develop the city's workings. Though of note: The "Military" is nearly everywhere trying to contain this 'plague', and numerous people are aware of what the Infected truly are but are mostly dismissed as false by the "Military". In addition to that, they had every copy of the Mayor's broadcast destroyed to try denying the events of the town meeting.
Though I'll try figuring something out later for Susie and Haile.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Somehow I don't think Yecotis' place would be much more wholesome than Susie's. Also, she'd kill you.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”So I'm gonna invoke the orb and shake up Yecotis. It might accidentally make its way to gordon or the bear.
Saint LaughterI would greatly prefer you don't, since A) I'm supposed to be fully controlling/deciding what it even does and B) you should deal with the Draconian Knight on your own instead of invoking some weird fairy orb action. Besides that, for the "Military" soldiers he killed I'm assuming Yecotis illusion spammed his way so they didn't tear him apart with their guns as he approached?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Yeah, I would assume that too. Plus, the orb didn't really do anything for him.
Saint LaughterDisclaimer: I still have no idea if Martin's power can affect whatever the Draconian Knight is, or even if it would help if it did. But, darn it, I still think trying it was pretty cool.
Yeah, what he's doing sounds badass.
Saint LaughterAnd thus you have (maybe) defeated the first boss.

Well, Yecotis is going to try eating someone out of curiosity at some point and he does think consuming things gives you their traits.
