... Shush, I'm tired and sick.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Something that mixes the concept of Teen Titans (children/kid-versions of established heroes uniting) with a crossover (as in, the characters are 'the next generation' of a typical crossover that happened decades before).
would anyone be interested in a homebrew rpg where your main goal is to climb up a wacky tower full of various types of "levels" for legendary treasure?
i'm not sure if this idea would work better as a forum game or a roleplay so I'm posting it here to see if anyone would be interested.
Is anyone interested for a Mons forum RPG named Intermon (Of I'm writing a story about it on Google Docs) which is a Deconstructor Fleet of Mons
I'm be thankful if you're interested?
Up in Useful Notes/ParaguayThat sounds pretty cool, consider me interested.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.I like that kind of stuff, Star Bee. It might work better as a forum game if it isn't about character interaction heavily, but that depends if it's more like a text adventure(or a choose your own adventure) or actually has roleplaying/character interaction in it.
Sounds intriguing.
Long live the New Bev.I'll accept everyone, can I create one signup thread for the next hour.
Up in Useful Notes/ParaguayI kinda feel like making a multi-verse RP where people are from a dimension of "Universal Protectors" and their job is to go hunt anomalies in other dimensions.
In my experience, crossover/multiverse R Ps usually don't end well.
Those who have no right to wish are quick to cause destruction. They honestly work fine as long as the GM(or GM's) properly makes sure each character is toned down before being allowed in, to keep a consistent power setting to avoid issues. As well as be willing to make certain things not allowed, regardless of who the character is.
They're fairly easy to manage as long as one does research and puts effort into not overdoing abilities. That includes using characters that make either no sense in the setting or more specifically, are basically god mode to a severe degree(unless that character is simply not allowed to do any in-game battles if they're effectively invincible, or alternatively are only put there as fun plot devices for unimportant and agreed upon joke battles/story-driven wins. Not that the alternate is always the best idea).
@Deceptively Honest: For the sake of myself running City Of Lost Characters, the group of GMs running A Game Of Gods, and Meanken running Battleworld, I hope you're wrong about that.
Though yes, Irene is right that it takes a lot of work making sure nobody is severely outclassing everyone else. I find it best to have your ground rules laid out from the start, making sure it's as clear as possible what will be allowed and what won't. Also personally I went for the "any character is allowed but OP characters get nerfed" route.
You are reading this.@EchoingSilence: I was actually part of an RP like this once. It was called Defenders of the Omniverse, or D.O.T.O. though its recruits comes from various worlds (meaning both canon characters and OCs) and are recruited into the organization which exists in one universe instead of all coming from the same universe.
"You said you had a dream... That dream... Make it come true! ... If anyone can, it's you!" - N (shortened) Oh, and I'm a girl.Well, that RP idea was a disaster. RWBY it is.
It will be interesting; it'll take place at the same time as Volume 4 (and any later volumes).
Those who have no right to wish are quick to cause destruction.Well, you didn't even give it a day. You should wait a bit more.
Sorry for double posting, but when is that Medieval RP going to get a signup?

Thinking of redoing that mercenary RP game inspired by Area 88, though not sure if it's better to use ground forces or aerial forces in Africa.
Would anyone be interested in a RP set in the Final Fantasy VIII universe as the new generation of SEE Ds?
I have an idea for a Transformers roleplay, set on Cybertron, and following the events which lead to the war. The idea.....just died actually.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.Double checking - are folks still interested in a One Piece RP?
Very much!
They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanCool thing. Imminent then - in a week and three or so days.
Is this medieval RP still a thing?
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Anyone up for a dark fantasy RP where we play witches and warlocks forming a new coven? Time frame up for discussion and I have a couple different plots I can break out, depending upon player vote.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!
...a millennium.
Anyways, I wrote a couple of drafts for the PMD RP, but I'm just not sure how well I can flesh them out.
I'm not really that fond of Fallout or The Elder Scrolls, tbh; I've only ever played, like, half of Fallout 3, and my knowledge of those franchises isn't anywhere near as vast as it is for the others. It's only natural that I excluded Halo, 'cause I haven't even been keeping up with it (and who'd bother to RP as a space marine when they can just play one of the games?). Then I went out of my way to exclude LoZ (since it's basically pure fantasy) and Star Wars (for that on top of the fact that there are already 2 tropers doing it)–which left me with 6 options.
I even went out of my way to rank each of them by certain categories:
Fantasy:
Narm:
Power:
Then again, I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of WH40k, either (and FF7's overrated). That being said, new straw poll!
Oh, and for the record, the Kingdom Hearts one would take place in an alternate timeline (one where the Keyblade War still has yet to occur).
...I'm a very lonely person.

The truth can oft be more misleading... I'm driven by greed, guilt, rage, and despair, but I'll never try to justify haughtiness.
