Life is strange to get a Japanese dub
Here's to fanart from Japanese fans.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013Wow. This is the kind of game that I'd imagine might do pretty well over there.
Though, odd thing, the Description mentions only PS 3, PS 4, and PC. No mention of X Box Consoles.
Anyway, if they're giving it a full dub, that suggests to me that Square DOES actually consider the game a success to some extent and values building a name for it.
Does anyone in Japan even own an Xbox?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I wouldn't know. Just thought it was something worth noting.
Depends on how many Idolmaster games are available for them.
Okay so I thought that was a trailer or something but watching it with the sound off is really incomprehensible. Is that like a review or something?
It's a review of the first episode only, but it was made by a guy whose perspective on games of this nature are interesting to me.

Fair enough. I've never really gotten into video review of games aside from Zero Punctuation (which is the shit, and now that I think of it it's been a while since I've caught up, I probably have a handful of videos to watch).
I don't consider Yatzee a reviewer. I only listen to him when I want a quick laugh.
Well, let me caveat that: I don't give a shit about whether reviewers/critics/people like a game or not when I'm deciding what to buy. I care about the information they have to say about the game. If Yahtzee says "This game is fucking terrible", eh, whatever. I've liked a ton of games that he didn't like. But if Yahtzee says "The camera controls in this game are fucking terrible, but the mission structure is strangely compelling and the story isn't too linear," that is meaningful information. I'm not going to entirely base any decisions on one review, but rather I'll aggregate the information available and consider it all.
...And also watch Yahtzee when I want a good laugh.
Campster isn't a reviewer, really. He does critical analysis. He talks about themes and how gameplay interacts with story and such. Not whether or not you should buy it.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."The only person I watch when deciding to buy or play a game is Dashie.
Also, i really like this game. I just hope they let us decide who Max gets with. I don't like it when a pairing is forced on me.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!I'm not sure Max's love life is really the focus of the game, lol. :p
I agree with this. I wanted to say something like this earlier but I couldn't find the words.

I liked Errant Signal (even if he can feel a bit pretentious at times), but his Life is Strange episode kind of rings hollow in light of Episodes 2, 3, and 4 being so vastly different from the first.
Well of course it would. It's only for the first episode because it was the only one out when he made the video.
I know. I saw the vdeio when it first came out (I think Episode 2 came out the week of or before the video) and I remember even posting it here at some point.
I just think maybe he should have waited a little bit or waited until Episode 5 was out to discuss it in full. If I remember crrectly, he comments that the caracters feel stereotypical at times, which is less true by Episode 4 compared to Episode 1.
If he goes back and rediscusses it after Episode 5, then we're good.
According to the fandom, if you don't ship Max/Chloe you don't deserve to live.
I might be exaggerating a bit but I would like to see how they plan on wrapping up the many different relationships.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!Campster's relatively more recent comments are saying that Life is Strange manages to keep feeling honest even though it deals with subjects its not prepared to talk about, and its tendency to drop those subjects after they've served its purpose.
Episode 5 'aiming for' release on the 20th of October.
It's still so far awwwaaaayyyy :C
Oh my God that's a whole 'nother mooooooonth
It was supposed to be late September/early October ;_;
Well, to be fair, we were just assuming that with the approximate schedule they've been following, it's not like they ever officially said it'd be any sooner.
Are they gonna release a second season? This game has been great so far.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!
Dontnod said it'd have multiple endings, so they probably had a lot more lines to cover this time around.
