Doesn't mean he's wrong either.
It's typical for people to call you a troll for disagreeing with them. I agree with you though. Mods are gonna crack down and crack down hard if we keep this up. No one's gaining anything, only getting closer to losing.
I'd like to move on from the topic.

"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."I'd like to rewind so you didn't bring it up.
...I mean, one of the artistic themes of the game is all about the rewind power and the photos, and capturing moments in time.

Saying deliberately inflammatory things in a public forum does make people trolls.
"Your feelings don't matter" "Feminism is a cancer", etc.

To be fair, she didn't actually say "cancer".
Unless there was an edit when I wasn't looking.
Which. Is a bit like the rewind power when ya think about it.
EDIT: I am very deliberately trying to keep us even slightly on topic, is it working?

Gave me Prince of Persia vibes. I thought it'd be more of an unused gimmick at first, but I was surprised to see it used so well.
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."I sorta love that Square Enix couldn't find a single person who likes Spirits Within and they had to make one up.
That made me laugh.
I like to imagine that was part of the deal. Like "okay, you can have your weird time game about a hipster girl, but sue has to like Spirits Within."
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."So, what do you guys think the hot dog means?
It sure shows up a lot in episode 4.
It clearly represents the patriarchy.
Or anti-semitism.
Or it's a hot dog.
Or all of the above.
Same here.
Subjectively or objectively?
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion."What even is a hot dog? Objectively?
What physical property of the universe is it that a tube filled with pig parts has to exist or be given that name?
Because to me it would seem both the hot dog and the idea of the hot dog are subjective and socially constructed objects.
There is no spoon.
EDIT: The philosophy department tends to hate me.

It's a message on how we shouldn't judge people by their appearance alone. Most will assume the hot dog is made of pig. It's actually a vegan hot dog.
It's about how we assume that because a trait is common, everything possess that trait until proven otherwise. Like how we assume everyone is a straight white male.
Such wisdom.
Much (hot) doge.
I'm not sure if I'm happy my link sparked debate or if I tenet posting it in the firs place.
Too bad this debate isn't actually about the article.
Yeah.
So do you agree that Life Is Strange is glurge?
Dunno, haven't seen the ending yet.
Glurge? I mean, no.
I think it's meaningful.
And really, one person's Glurge is another person's Tearjerker.
Anyway, we haven't seen the ending yet, so I think we'd best hold off on a complete analysis of the story.
Oh God! Natural light!
I think you're a little hung up on objectivity vs. subjectivity.
In a lot of ways, objective reality is a myth, and where it isn't.
I mean, we are very subjective animals. Very very social animals.
We are all about interacting with each other in a lot of ways.
As we grow up, our subjectivity bounces off a lot of others. Parents, friends, loved ones of all stripes.
And like.
Jesus, if we could only talk about objective things the most we could say about the weather is probably "the sky is blue" or "those clouds are white". Except "blue" and "white" are both subjective concepts that only have meaning because we agree that they do. note
We couldn't even say "nice day".
We talk about subjective things as if they were objective all the time.
We might not be able to function if we didn't.
For heaven's sake, Max literally takes an art class. Photography, specifically.
One of the first things we hear is a character talking about lighting and contrast in photography, and stuff about moments of desperation, and the effect all of that is meant to invoke.
A lot of her flavor text about photography is about subjective responses. But a lot of those subjective responses are deliberate. Are things her teacher literally supposedly writes about in his text books.
Art does this all the time. Artists are taught how to do this. To push buttons in our brains that release the chemicals that make us feel.
And if Art makes us feel the wrong thing. Then in a sense, it's failing as art.
Movies are able to make billions of dollars of profit because people who make movies are damn good at getting the subjective responses they want from people.
Comedy in media is all about giving downtime after every joke so the audience has time to laugh. Which means you need to anticipate when that will be.
...And as for the idea that commercial products cannot also be artistic, it reminds me of a lot of stuff about how artists shouldn't be allowed to feed or clothe or shelter themselves and should subsist in poverty. Otherwise they aren't real artists.
It's. Not really a sentiment that artists really like expressed.
Max wants to be a professional photography, so I don't think she would.
