I can confirm the stress test is fun as hell.
No one playing the open beta?
I should probably mention that the game's been out since the 20th. And it's on Steam, too.
I'll be honest, there hasn't been much activity here. Hope that changes.
Crap, I forgot. I've been busy, I swear!
I note I have failed to say Uncle Sven rules.
So there. UNCLE SVEN RULES!
I should share the inspiring story of how hard Motiga worked and what they sacrificed to get this game out. It's a story I feel people need to hear to get an idea of how much they care for it.
At some point I do plan to get a desktop with acceptable current gen specs, but for the time being I'll have to wait until they do away with the crappy RAM requirement, as they said they'll work on optimizing things.
Yes, in this day and age 8gb RAM is now the norm. Yes, apparently RAM is... moderately inexpensive to purchase, But man some people really come off as dicks when they coarsely suggest to just 'buy more RAM' to circumvent the issue to even play this game. Been scouring the discussions on Steam.

In a week, it shuts down.
Annnnnnnnnddddd there's an account authentication issue going around so I can't play it right now.
The character design in this makes me wish just once we could get a modern RPG with this level of veriety in your party...
I never even gotten an chance to play an match in this with real players. It's sad, comparably to most MOBA-like games and hero shooters its very unique. The only other game I know of that is similar is Battlerite and their still is a big difference.

I CAN LOG BACK IN AGAIN!
So the dawn of the final day in this game's life has come, huh? Never got to play it sadly, always a shame to see a game go. Though if I recall somebody out there is considering setting up private servers in the future, but there is no guarantee in that sort of thing nowadays.

Closes in around 12 hours and 40 minutes from now.
I'll always love you Gigantic ;_;
Sad ending to the game, it had a lot of potenial. Sadly got no attention for it though.
As someone who actually had the founder's pack agreed. Also such a waste for me....
So... I realize it's been years since the last post in this topic, but I don't do this lightly.
There may be hope for a revival of Gigantic. Out of nowhere, Gearbox Publishing (Embracer Group bought out the game's publisher, Perfect World Entertainment, two years ago and placed it under fellow subsidiary Gearbox Entertainment) is sending out e-mail invites for a limited-time "Throwback Event" from October 5th (tomorrow) to the 7th in which the game will once again be playable. This version of the game also has some new stuff, such as revamped tutorials and a new, faster-paced "Rush Mode".
I doubt they'd add these new features for only two days of playtime. I believe they're testing the waters here, seeing if the game is worth bringing back. And this is a genuine Gearbox thing— they sent an official statement to PC Gamer confirming it (but chose not to say anything about this event being preparation for a full comeback).

...I was actually trying to post that but gave up because I couldn't find the thread and figured I'm probably pretty close to the only one who cares about it, what sorcery is this?
I'm 100% for obscure shut down games having revivals. Preferably permanent, but temporary can be nice too.
IT WORKS I'M PLAYING IT
