Rai let out a low laugh as he piloted his Sazabi Star. "Come my comrades! The enemy is before us! Let them taste our might!" He belted to his teammates with gusto. He loved this, to play the hammy role in combat, it felt good.
The Sazabi's eye glowed brighter as it charged forward, two smaller Sazabi's soon joined in following it.

"You're getting far too excited, Rai." Daniel said flatly, his Blu Duel weaving expertly between heaps of wreckage. "Your screaming is distracting." His eyes were focused solely on the battlefield. The minute an AI Machine got near him, he would pounce upon it and try to rip it up with his twin beam sabers while pinning it down with vulcan cannon-fire.
Chad sighed when he saw Rai go running ahead, the battle out there was pretty fierce, but he'd managed to hook a few of his friends from the Team up with some high power Gunpla, so the battle shouldn't spread further than that area.
"If you want to get to enemies actually worth a damn, follow me."
With that, he started to fly off in his white and green custom, still prepared for anything just in case.

The Serserpent tailed the Sazabi.
"You're gonna get yourself killed."It's pilot said in a complete deadpan manner.
It readied it's double gatling and scanned for any oncoming threats.

Rai let out another laugh, "then let us fight together!" He turned to Chad, "Lead the way!"
The two Sazabi scouts saluted as Rai halted his Sazabi star.
Chad's Silver Bullet lead the way in toward the secret entrance.
He had a sneaking suspicion the stage was designed this way - for people who wanted to show off or considered themselves able to bust through the front to find overwhelming force there, to test those very qualities.
But now...it was time to see what kinds of tests awaited people who decided to go through a different path.
Rai caught on quick when he saw another Gunpla of another team get slaughtered.
"Lead the way," he said turning the Sasabi star to follow the Silver Bullet.
"Reminds me a bit of my last year with my Gouf Dakka,"

Daniel trailed behind Rai. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. This secret entrance seemed...too easy. Daniel took a moment to deploy the two beam guns that were stored in the arms of the Blu Duel- he didn't want to walk into an ambush without weapons in hand. "We should proceed with caution. I'm thinking there will be enemy forces waiting for us there." he cautioned.
Chad nodded at that and prepared his machine's beam rifle, steadying it to aim at anything they saw once they crossed that threshold.
Whatever's waiting for us...I hope we're ready for it.
And then quickly a light showed at the end of the tunnel...but probably it wasn't the kind of light they were hoping to find. They were now flying into another area within Axis, it looked like a mobile suit yard of some sort.
That was when something flew along just outside of their peripheral vision, jetting forward and then spinning into sight, followed by two gigantic black wings opening, a red central eye glaring out from its head. This was SID, from Gundam AGE, the large black winged machine that guarded the secrets of mobile suit development.
It primed its beam guns for use, and Chad shouted, "Be careful! Remember, SID's beams can follow you!"
Rai looked at it, he had never watched AGE and to him this looked like a dragon out of a fantasy game.
But that's what Gunpla battle was. "Affirmative," He stated activating the funnels of his Sazabi Star, 9 beam weapons ready and raring for battle. "Awaiting command!"
SID immediately emitted a loud humming noise as it prepared its guns for deployment.
Chad immediately veered to the side and then flew out at a curved angle as SID fired off a barrage of red beams that seemed to curve through the air, seeking out the Gunpla, and even blasting through surroundings if it meant continuing pursuit.
Rai brought his Gunpla back and commanded all of his drones to open fire while the SID was distracted, a fury of green beams fired from the funnels and Scouts towards the SID.
As the beams closed in on the machine, it suddenly just outright seemed to vanish, the beams passing right by where it once was. It then appeared close to the "ceiling" of the Colony, emitting a low sound almost like a growl but not quite, more like a mechanized whirring sound.
It then released more beams from its guns, each one making a huge number of twists and turns through the air as they went down toward Rai.
Chad was at that moment distracted trying to get these beams off of his tail. He found a pretty good way - diving into rubble or scenery, but it seemed these physics defying lasers were being pretty tough...
Rai panicked and forced the Sazabi Star out of the way raising it's shield hoping that the beams could be blocked once they were close enough.

Daniel turned the arm shield of the Blu Duel towards any incoming beams. He aimed the shield mounted gun towards the Sid. "Never liked Gundam AGE." said Daniel with a smug smirk. "Weapons free, opening fire."
The shield-mounted gun roared as it fired on the Sid.
A beam of energy flew from the entry way to the room, flying wide and missing the head of the SID. "Oh dear, oh dear! How do I...?" The Banshee standing there seemed to be having some problems figuring out how to move. Its arm swung around, dragging the laser sideways and hopefully across the enemy.
Rai aimed for the center of mass on the SID and and opened fire again. "Come! We can beat this guard!"
It looked like the Sazabi Star's shield was burnt pretty bad from tanking SID's beam weapon, and thankfully the others - followed by a new entrant - kept heat off of him.
The rather inexperienced beam blast from the Banshee cut into the left wing of the dragon-like creature, prompting it to move erratically, resulting in a section of its abdomen being blasted through by the Blu Duel.
Chad finally found his opening and released the fin funnels from his Silver Bullet, "Take this you overgrown guard dog!" They rained blasts down, which thankfully took out the other wing's weaponry.
Perhaps seeing that its central mass was now endangered by the ensuing attacks, SID vanished again, and made a retreat, much as it did in the Gundam AGE anime when it was almost destroyed by Zeheart.
Chad breathed slowly, finally that damn thing was done. Though not destroying it might prove to have consequences later...
Rai discarded his shield and looked at his comrades. Another salute with the Sazabi, "Where to next fearless leader?"
Chad got a notice and looked over, toward the area where everyone basically rushed the gate.
"Well, it looks like out of everyone that rushed the front gate, only five lived. Come on, if we want to stay ahead, we have to head deeper into Axis. I see a corridor leading deeper in over there."
With that, Chad started toward the corridor in question. He did though have to question why they'd create such difficulty disparity - none of the machines at the front gate were as tough as SID. It was like setting a high school team against a Pro NFL team...
Unless the guys who made this simulation had different ideas than what everyone here had.

"Shouldn't we be hunting down the SID?" asked Daniel. "If we let that thing get away, we might have to fight it again later, along with everything else in there. Plus, if we followed the SID, we might be lead straight to where we need to be."
"That is a option. Eliminate our biggest threat, exhaust our Gunpla further, thus giving others the chance to take us out easier," Rai replied, "It melted my shield and it has beam weapons that work like Darkseid's omega beam. We damaged it but we should let the other teams get in a few extra hits before we try to take it out."
Grace blinked in surprise as she had actually managed to hit the monstrosity, followed soon after by its retreat. The Banshee lowered its arms as the Armed Armor BS folded back to its rest position. The black mobile suit kicked off of the ground and took off to follow the group. "I think we should continue on. Maybe we can complete this mission before running into it again." She chimed in.

A Serpent came out of the corridor.
"Y'know, if you guys played a little more smartly you could've taken that thing out. But I guess you'd all just be lost without me."
The Serpent turned around."

The Axis Colony, Besieged
PRACTICE BATTLE - ENGAGE
A Blu Duel Gundam, a customized Master Gundam, a customized Sazabi, and a Serpent Custom emerged from the walls of Arena, each player's Gunpla moving forward, toward the Axis Colony.
There were numerous others involved in this practice battle, being that this was a public brawl, anyone could enter and leave as they pleased. All that was clear was that this was a limited time offer "Practice Arena" that would appear in seven places throughout the city.
An ARX-014P Silver Bullet (Funnel Test Type) rushed ahead of the pack of the students, its pilot stating aloud, "Follow me, the others are wasting ammo and Gunpla trying to break down the front gate. There's a passage way to the side that'll take us inside the fortress, directly to the important enemies.
That was, surprisingly enough, Chad Donovan, the Quarterback of their high school, who had just four weeks ago derided Gunpla as "some nerd sport".
Right in front of them, they could see Mobile Suits being torn to pieces by the Axis Colony's self defence weapons, and it certainly hadn't lost any of its potency from the show.
A blue and gold Gundam, built on the basis of the Calamity, flew through the front lines, the two massive guns on the shoulders replaced with a cluster of strange, customized large fin funnels shaped like claws.
Each one flew off and shot through the center of one of the Gaza Cs pursuing it, each of the Gazas quickly exploding.
A highly customized Armorzorgan from the Reconguista in G Anime, a very recent addition to the toy line, released sixteen funnels from four additional parts added to its back, each one releasing a continuous stream of fire together with the natural weapons of the Armorzorgan...of which, there were many.
Its three pilots looked like they were quite enjoying themselves.
A group of Doven Wulf units gave chase after an extremely fast unit, which was almost too fast to be seen by the newly deployed additions to the battle.
Even so, there was a lot of wreckage, both of the AI Machines out there, and the wreckage of people's Gunpla who were not prepared for the level of difficulty in this event.
