There's this melody I have in my head, that I'm trying to express in musical notation, but it's not quite working out. Here's a spectrograph of my melody; I can upload an audio file of me humming it if you want. That's actually where the spectrograph comes from, for your information.

All you can really make out from that is the dynamics so you'd probably wanna upload it somewhere so people can hear the pitch, rhythm, etc.

Okay, here's an audio file for you to check out.

EDIT: Changed to a less noisy version.

Okay, since it's been a few months, let me ask better this time.

Here's a short little melody I thought up in my head. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble expressing it in musical notation. I know it goes start-down-up-down, but that's about it. I certainly can't seem to figure out how long each note is; I've tried a number of options in that regard, and they always sound wrong.

So, how would you express this in musical notation?
