I'd kinda like to see the aunt and the sisters from the initial draft Disney had going. Since these new versions are longer in runtime (a Disney Animated Canon movie that lasts two full hours when?) and try, for better or worse, for Adaptation Expansion, why not to give that a try?

Because the character she is playing is generally considered a lot younger than the actress is. Sure, she may not be in that adaptation since age never really comes up, but its still kind of awkward if you don't know otherwise.
Fantasia: 124 mins.
Wreck It Ralph: 120 mins.
Those are the the only two films in the Disney Animated Canon that last 120 mins or longer. I checked. They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
Odd, they both felt rather shorter.
Oh Hell Yeah! Emma Thompson is gonna rock it. Though part of me is said they couldn't wrangle Angela Lansbury back for the part, though she's probabaly too old now anyway.
About the age-difference...yeah what the other guy said. Seydoux may have been 29, but her Belle felt younger, maybe 20. I'm not sure what the intended age of the Beast/Prince/King (he appeared old enough that he should have been a king rather than a prince) was, but it was definitely still a good chunk older than Belle. Cassel did dye is hair and beard to cover the greys to appear a bit younger though, so *shrug*.
It didn't bother me much, but it was just a tad strange is all. I'm used to Hollywood, where they tend to keep the age range between love interests relatively small, unless it's part of the plot, or unless one of the duo easily passes as younger than they look (Like Sandra Bullock in The Proposal) to make they age difference look smaller than it actually is.
It could also have something to do with this photoshoot:

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"A lot of us Europeans usually don't throw a fit or something in regards to age difference/gap, provided both parties are older than the limits of the age of consent (average age of consent in Europe: 15/16 - with people not giving a fuck after the person reaches 18/19)
I gathered as much. If Hollywood was casting the film, there's no way they would have paired Seydoux and Cassel romantically. I don't particularly care either way, (I actually though they decent chemistry for what little screen time they had together), it's jut not something you see in North American film, unless it's part of the plot.
"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Is Disney making these movies because of the animation age ghetto ?
I dunno, maybe.
They're quickly run out of the Golden Age princess films, so they're moved onto Renaissance.
I'll get scared if they announce a live-action The Princess And The Frog.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! The only MAJOR reason I'd be terrified of a Princess in the Frog will be the never ending wars raged over the casting.
They're not out of ideas, they're just lazy.
whaaaaaat
ophelia, you're breaking my heartI'm...totally ok with that. He be a great dead-pan snarker Cogsworth IMO.
"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Please make Lumiere to be Patrick Stewart doing his French accent, please make Lumiere to be Patrick Stewart doing his French accent...
Wrong clip. The channel owner wrote the wrong title on each video:
"Seh Finnall Fruentier."

Thanks.
And Ewan McGregor is Lumiere.
So far, we have Magneto, Obi Wan, Hermione and Nanny Mac Phee in this...
I would pay for Obi-Wan to be like Pepe LePew.

It's over Anakin! I have the high ground! There sure is a lot of British actors in a film set in France. No criticizing intended, just an observation.

Why is it, apart from X-Men, Patrick Stewart doesn't seem to get cast in any major movie these days?
Final Fantasy, Foreign Policy, and Bollywood. Helluva combo, that...Name me two well known things other than TNG and Moby Dick he did before the X-Men.
Since they're both adults (and Léa is 29), what's the problem here?
