"I activate Shining Elf's ability again, now taking 500 atk off of Zwei."
The Shining Elf once again loosed a Sword Beam that weakened Cyber Dragon Zwei.
And then, when my turn comes around, I'll put more hurt on top of this. The D.L. thought, grinning visibly.
Syre only grinned in response, same as him. He used up both of his overlay units, now it's time for a comeback. "First I'll start by revealing the flash fusion in my hand! This makes my Cyber Dragon Zwei just a regular Cyber dragon, this turn only. Battle phase!" She shouted, the cyber dragon that was around her at first getting the hint. "Now, Cyber Dragon, attack Midnight Fiend! Burst breath!" Unlike it's unfinished counterpart, this cyber dragon didn't waste any time charging up and immediately fired off it's fiery breath at the fiend.

The Midnight Fiend evaporated in the face of Cyber Dragon's attack, though it didn't look like her opponent was too badly affected. He was more worried about what came next.
Syre took a few deep breaths before proceeding with her duel. Even if she didn't like Duelist Logia at all, the cocky sods, the teen couldn't deny they were still some of the most elite duelists in the city... It was nerve-wrecking.
"You okay over there? Because I'm afraid that I'm not at the end of my turn quite yet! Due to my Zwei's effect i now activate my quick-play magic, Flash fusion! I assume you know what the card does?" Both of her mechanical serpents now raced towards eachother with the animation for fusion starting up behind the redhead. A grin appeared as she was starting enjoy the duel more and more.
"Original and copy become united as one, form a new power and show them your combined strength! Flash Fusion! Level 6, Cyber twin Dragon!"

The young man looked rather rattled by the sudden appearance of the high level monster.
"Very well, go on."
He still had his facedown, but even with it, he'd still take a lot of damage.
That set card might become a problem... But the cyber user couldn't back down. "Alright, lift me up..." Syre brushed her hair out of her eyes, petting one of the heads of her new monster. "It's still the batttle phase, 'know. You know what this little guy's effect is, by the way?"
The petite girl climbed on twin's back , leaning against its neck for support. "TWIN CYBER BURST!" The shock rocked her body a little and nearly threw her off, the grip clearly not being the best thing in the world, as both heads of the new beast surrounded Shining Elf in order to trap it. They charged up another photon beam to incinerate it.

"Defend my monster, Half Unbreak!!"
The trap flipped over and a large collection of bubbles flew out, a single one surrounding his Elf, and smaller ones clustering around it.
It won't totally insulate me, but at least this is better than getting blasted down.
"Tch, so that's why you didn't move..." Syre mutters under her breath, dramatically pulling up her shoulders. "Aw, what a shame. Even though shining elf survives my Twin Dragon's attack is far from finished... It can make a second one, after all!" She dropped off the mechanical beast who's now charging up it's second attack, pointing straight at shining elf. "Twin Photon Burst!"
The second head made it's attack, firing off it's breath as soon after the monster lowered it'd head in fatigue. "Oh... Are you okay? I'm sorry for having to put you through so much effort, twin. Go and get some rest." Syre gave a gentle pat on it's head before activating her own facedown: "De-Fusion!"
Both Zwei and the regular dragon detached themselves from eachother and seperate, the fusionuser now standing in front her two monsters. "My battles have not yet ended! Zwei, Cyber dragon, Burst breath!"

The D.L. breathed in relief as the attack hit his Half Unbreak trap's effect, even as his life points fell to 6300, then 5700.
He then grimaced when he saw that Cyber Dragon and Zwei were back on the field.
"Damn..."
The two breath attacks hit the same barrier as the one that blocked off Cyber Twin's attacks, his life points dropping...

"Hah...ghah..." Breathing slowly now, he showed a bitter smirk to her. He lived through that...
Syre looked around, it seems she ran out of options. The time on her turn's running out and she doesn't have enough speed to get to an action card in time, as well as another level 2 getting summoned at the end of the turn....
"Alright, you're up." She took this time to look around. By now they must've gotten some spectators, right? Ignoring her oppponent for a bit she ran around for a bit. If anyone's watching she can't humiliate herself in front of everyone...
"No...!" Crap, Cyber Dragon had lowered it's head as it's in pain, although it still loomed over Syre in order to not get her to be hurt. The girl looked over caringly at her dragon, making her expression more gentle and petting it.
"...Don't worry buddy... It'll be alright." She looked back at her opponent. "I'll then normal summon," Syre gazes at the card she was about to summon. "You're up, buddy. Let's do it." Then turned her attention back toward her opponent... "CYBER DRAGON, ZWEI!" Another mechanical beast rose from the ground, it having a more whip-like body compared to rest's snake-like designs.
