Also, the day New Tesladyne opens Jenkins (possibly with some cybernetics) just walks in, sits across from Robo, opens a Newspaper and just begins to read like nothing has happened.
"You can reply to this Message!"And then this happens:
Robo: Jenkins.
Jenkins: Robo.
(Beat)
Jenkins: What'd I miss?
Robo: Not much. Traveled through time into the Old West, came back here by keeping my head in a box, Majestic became ULTRA, ULTRA got Tesladyne, then giant monsters called Biomega happened, followed by giant robots, I got a new body...
Jenkins: You didn't pilot one of those giant robots, did you?
Robo: A robot piloting a robot? Don't make me laugh. Anyway, while ULTRA was fooling around with their giant robots, we got me into space to get a Nazi space station to collide with an island sized Biomega, thus ending the Biomega threat entirely as well as making ULTRA look like a bunch of nuclear energy-guzzling, trigger-happy idiots. Pretty sure their boss hates my guts now.
Jenkins: And...?
Robo: And we got Tesladyne back into the right hands, namely ours.
(another Beat)
Jenkins: So I didn't miss much then.
Robo: Meh, not really. By the way, where did you go?
Jenkins: Nowhere really. Just tried to stay alive. Not get caught.
Robo: I always knew you were alive. Welcome back, Jenkins.
Jenkins: Glad to be back, Robo.
Bump.
Are you talking about an...Outer Heaven?
EDIT: Actually it just hit me. What if they really are gonna poke fun at Metal Gear?

"You nearly started World War III because of your stupidity and your plan would have caused a nuclear winter even if it went off without a hitch. Clearly what you need is less accountability!"
Even Big Boss had accountability. He at least made sure the world knew he was going to start a Nuclear War.
And in the end, Big Boss really didn't have very many options available to him. ULTRA on the other hand went around personally strangling every other option to death.
Big Boss is a more responsible villain than Majestic and Ultra!
I think Majestic/ULTRA is a sting operation set up by someone trying to get the most absolutely incompetent, malicious and self-righteous morons on the planet all in one place so they can be quietly shot into the sun.
Not drones?

I think it's a drone, mostly because of the height and because that arm is very reminiscent of Robo's.
Oh, I kinda assumed it was Powered Armor. Eh, never mind
Apparently, the answer is "Making Robo a new heart".
Pretty impressive, actually.
So now instead of a black box made by Tesla, Robo's heart is a black box made by ALAN. That can't go badly in any way.
Heart donations always make me squeamish.
"You gave ALAN's subconscious a problem. ALAN created a factory that could solve it."
It's probably nodding to one of the many volumes that I've yet to read, but what's Robo talking about?
ALAN is all about plans, adapting, analyzing problems and then solving them. By hooking up ALAN's subconscious with the problem for Robo's new heart he automatically started to find ways to solve it in superfast mode.
"You can reply to this Message!"Would what Robo said in this last panel count as tempting fate, or is it too soon to tell?

With his history? Yeah. Definitely.
We'll still get adventures, but this is clearly the beginning of the promised "Weird Future" era of the series, so there may indeed be a lot more in-universe scientific progress coming from Tesladyne.
Honestly, after that whole General Brooks meets her old boss thing, I'm hoping that the next big Atomic Robo story will be an Affectionate Parody to the Metal Gear Solid games.

The unfortunate fact for Robo is that he's uniquely qualified to handle the kind of problems he's been chasing over the years.
It's not the first time he's had this thought. It didn't help then, either.
Seriously though, Robo missed a spot.

We know it's gonna happen. He's gonna pop on up, claim credit and point out everything they did wrong.
