Watched a video on a playthrough of "Get Lucky" and noticed that the version they used was the shorter radio edit rather than the longer album cut. They probably did it to cut down on the tedium and repetition of stuff like the guitar riff, but still.
Weird thing is that both songs that I checked, "Get Lucky" and "Hey Ya!" retain their fade outs for some reason. I thought one of the main points of acquiring the master tracks was to counter fade outs, because playing them feels awkward as hell.

On my wave, passing oooooooonSounds like another case of overly high expectations, not unlike the Square Enix situation with their big 2012-2013 games.
Anyway, more DLC up this week.
Song list:
- Bruno Mars - Locked Out of Heaven
- Bruno Mars - Treasure
- Generation X - Dancing With Myself
- J. Geils Band - Love Stinks
- Joan Jett and the Black Hearts - I Hate Myself For Loving You
- masaya matsuura - speed fighter
- Orleans - Still The One
How was I Hate Myself for Loving You not already in this franchise?
Someone managed to be the first person to FC the hardest song in the game, as of yesterday:
If I well remember, there is a problem with some ofrock band's strum things, in their guitars, right?
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesMotörhead \m/ \m/
That was definitely a problem with the Rock Band 1 guitar controllers, where they would break within a few months (or less) of heavy play. As far as I know, the Rock Band 2 guitar controller (the one I have) has a strum bar that lasts a lot longer than that: a few years of heavy play. And the strum bars of later guitar models may be about the same quality, but I'm not entirely sure.

Hmmm. Oh well. Just that my RB 2 guitar thing's strum dun gun and ded :P
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesMine died once. I got it repaired and it's still working to this day, though with time it's starting to get flimsy again.
That dislike bar...
"The Wind" looks pretty hard.

I can't think of anything to say...
I came to terms with stuff like this appearing on Rock Band a while ago. Roughly around the same time Justin Bieber came out for DLC. Thus, I'm not as pissed about this as a lot of people undoubtedly are.
In other news, Harmonix got a new co-publisher yesterday to replace Mad Catz. They're called PDP, short for Performance Designed Products. Their new instruments will come later this fall, but the Mad Catz stuff will still be sold and supported by Mad Catz.
This week we get a three pack of The Cranberries.
The Songs included:
- "Zombie"
- "Ode to My Family"
- "Dreams"
I will probably pick up the whole pack when I finally get Rock Band 4. Also, one of the You Tube commenters won the internet with their "I thought this was Rock Band, not Fruit Band! We need more rock!" comment.
Status update: Harmonix's RB 4 + RBN on PC crowdfunding campaign is at 25% with 22 days to go.
So far, it's going along at a steady pace. Maybe it'll get funded after all, but it's too early to tell.
Also, kinda surprised they put out a track pack for Cranberries and not just a single.
Setlists coming in next week's update
You can have up to 100 songs in one setlist, and can toggle things like shuffling and brutal mode for them. I'm digging it
I hope you can edit the contents of the setlist afterwards, for example add, rearrange and remove songs. That was something that the RB 3 setlists were really lacking.
https://www.fig.co/campaigns/rock-band-4-pc It doesn't look like Rock Band 4 is going to come to PC, unless they can get $800,000 in the last 18 hours
They put out a roadmap at PAX East
This is what's coming up -
May - Battleborn characters, double kick support
June - Practice mode
Fall - Expansion pack, music library enhancements like filters and ratings, ION adapter for Xbox One
Holiday - Synchronous online multiplayer
Don't let me down, Harmonix. Also, DLC songs for this week -
Lamb of God - "Redneck"
The Romantics - "What I Like About You"
Weezer - "Dope Nose"
seems they're finally getting back on track now people can stop bitching, lol
but honestly i never cared for online play
This week's DLC: "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance, and "Hook" by Blues Traveler. Both are something I'll probably get, even if the former is one of the instrumentally more boring choices in MCR's whole discography, and the latter has a devil tier guitar due to a harmonica solo. Ugh. It doesn't even look that difficult. I guess the difficulty thresholds plummeted with Rock Band 4.
In addition, we're getting practice mode at the end of the month, along with DLC from Goo Goo Dolls, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Magic!, Three Days Grace and Toto.
Fingers crossed for Toto's "Africa". Goo Goo Dolls and Three Days Grace I do not care for, though if the song from the latter is "Break", I might get it just for the teenage nostalgia. I wish the Imagine Dragons entry would be "It's Time", though I'm afraid it will be "Demons". I really like The Killers, so I'll probably grab that one. My prediction is "Human" or "Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine", though I kinda would like to see something off Battle Born. Magic! I absolutely despise, but I guess "Rude" was the one charting song that fits in the game that we haven't gotten yet.

Attempts at a Full Band FC of one of the hardest songs in the game. Please come, I want this to get as much traffic as possible.
On my wave, passing oooooooon
After a week off, they're back!
The new songs available -
“Get Lucky” – Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams
“Hey Ya!” – Outkast
“Heartbeat Song” – Kelly Clarkson
Good stuff
