Hum. This article has thousands of wicks and inbounds. We cannot make a TRS on a mere assertion of misuse on an article this large.

Not sure if a more specific reason for listing would have been appropriate.
Basically, I suspect something like Trope Decay (I'd call it Trope Drift if anything) on Evil Counterpart.
The first sentence on the article explicitly states that an Evil Counterpart looks like the protagonist, yet tons of the examples bear no physical resemblance.
There are only two possibilities here: Either the definition of the trope has shifted and the description needs to be tweaked to reflect that, or the example list needs to be pruned of examples that don't actually bear a physical resemblance to their "counterparts".
