In Darth Vader #6, Vader hears the name "Skywalker" from Boba Fett and puts two and two together. "I have a son." I guess he was friening ignorence when the Emporer told him this information in the Special Edition of Empire Strikes Back.
Well, considering, he immediately goes to the Emperor and affirms his loyalty, while secretly saying, "It will all be mine," you're guess would be correct.
Why else would he do a We Can Rule Together with Luke?
Just finished the 4th Darth Vader TPB and it is one of my favorite series I've read in literal decades. The Dark Lord shows off his cruelty, tragedy, genius, and failures all in one. I think I would have preferred to see him and Tagge duel a bit more but the simple fact was Tagge seemed blissfully unaware what he was playing with, unlike his cousin from the Old Marvel series.
Here's my first review of it:

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. In case someone ignored it, Marvel is doing a crossover with its current Star Wars comic. It's called "War of the Bounty Hunters" and involves Star Wars, Darth Vader, Bounty Hunters, Doctor Aphra. It helps that, expect for "Star Wars: The High Republic" (which is not part of this), all those comics are set between episodes 5 and 6.
Had Marvel ever did a Star Wars crossover before?
Ultimate Secret WarsYes, multiple times. Vader Down and Screaming Tower.
Of course, she's a Hutt.
