Xenoblade Chronicles X barely fits on a Wii U disc.
Now that's interesting.
Did the first game have that problem?

Is this a Jo Jo reference?I'm not sure if Xenoblade Chronicles had that problem on Wii.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureIIRC Xenoblade fit comfortably on a single-layer DVD - at least, until it had to support two languages for dialog, at which point a dual-layer DVD was necessary.
Moon◊They actually filled a Blu-Ray? Are they talking about the single-layer, or the dual-layer version?
@Zelenal: What if the character has no default appearance?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. They'll probably create one.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Cross has a few default presets they mentioned in Famitsu.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureHas there been much said over how much customization the main character will get with his abilities? Or will he be like Shulk and be more of a Jack-of-All-Trades?
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."That may be impossible unless you're playing a text based game. Some doll makers aside, I've never seen a game that didn't have some kind of default appearance that you could then tweak.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! They'll probably use the version most used in promotional material. It's what was done for Sheppard and the Dragonborn.

I've decided I'm going to make my player character Miang. My goal will be to find a way to support whoever the new Demiurge is.
i. hear. a. sound. What do you call him/her (by default)?

Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. Most custom characters also have a default name, even if it isn't readily apparent. While this isn't always true, it tends to be.
Especially since the MC of this game appears to be named Cross by default if this thread is to be believed.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I think this one's default name is Cross?

i. hear. a. sound.I'd love to see a source.
Or is it a Japanese Fan Nickname?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Official or nickname, I like it and I think I'll use it if I go with a male MC.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyDidn't the name show up in the HUD during one of the videos showcasing the game? I think it was the one showing the player-character bounding through peoples' backyards.
Moon◊So I need to make a correction. Earlier, I said that Elma was the leader of Blade. That was wrong. Van Damme is the commanding officer of Blade while Elma is more like a squad leader. She might the leader of one of the Unions.
There's also two new characters up on the JP website. I'll get to translating their bios but Van Damme will have to wait since I have no idea what the last sentence or his quote are saying.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Xenoblade "Direct" announced. So far it's Japan only. No word yet on whether it's a pseudo-Direct like the 50-Facts Smash video or just a walkthrough of the environment/world. Seems to be the latter.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. They will probably have a North American and Europe Direct closer to the international release of the game.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAnd now for Van Damme.

I wonder how the translation team will handle that. Tsundere seems like a word they'd want to translate.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
I imagine that one race wants to exterminate humanity and came to Earth to blow it up, while one race wants to save humanity and came to Earth to stop the former race. Despite the efforts of Race #2, Race #1 succeeded, and it's Race #1's pursuit force that chased after the White Whale/Moby Dick.
And of course, since it's a Xeno- game, at some point it'll be revealed that God was judging humanity via the aliens or something.
