Tropical Freeze has been removed from the Wii U eShop.
It's suspected that it was removed since the Wii U version is only $20 and the Switch port is a full $60.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Twenty dollars?!
It's been a Nintendo Select game before.
I don't think it's a good decision, but I'm not buying the game regardless (no interest), so my opinion on this is 'meh, that's bad, but whatever'.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectPretty much my thoughts as well, they REALLY didn't have to do that, but I had no interest in getting it in the slightest.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*I get why people would be upset to be sure, and I sympathize, but it also doesn't affect that many people, since the people who would buy it on Switch wouldn't care about the U version in the first place.
If it becomes a more common trend I'd raise more of a fuss, but at the moment no other Wii U port has received the same treatment (which is probably because they still cost 60 dollars while DK costs less). So yeah.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Furukawa did an interview with a Japanese magazine to talk about some of Nintendo's goals.
- Furukawa wants to increase Nintendo's mobile earnings with a new big title. His endgame is to make $900 million off of the mobile market.
- There are plans to sell the Switch in the Middle East and Southeast Asia (currently only in Japan for Asia).
- Furukawa was chosen as the new president because he's good at getting the best out of the dev teams. He's also spent the last 2 years planning out Nintendo's future.
- Furukawa is making some internal company changes. There's going to be a committee or something.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?In regards to the second point...I already purchased one in Oman unless he refers to the whole Middle East.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.I need news.
What's spinning in the rumor mill?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Not so much rumor, but obvious, but we should expect info on Nintendo's online paid online service since this week is the last week of early May.
After that, we might have some Pokemon news between now and E3.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I bet the new Ace Attorney Switch game will be announced at either E3 or TGS.
I wonder how an HD model visual novel will work on the system.
Watch SymphogearFor the 3DS games the models had to be downscaled a bit to run on the system, so I imagine any Switch Ace Attorney game would simply skip that step. They could also use the original GBA games as a blueprint for the UI layout and such.
Or, y'know, the mobile ports. The entire series is on mobile.
Sales news.
The Switch port of Tropical Freeze is outpacing the Wii U version's sales by about 50% in the UK. The Switch version has also made up about 17% of the game's total sales over there already (at least physically).
Labo, meanwhile, has dropped off the charts, though since it's kind of a toy it might get steady sales over time. It's hard to say how it's doing right now.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?NES Classic will be returning to stores on June 29th and be available til the end of the year.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I wonder if anyone would be crazy enough to mod the text in those games into English.
...Though admittedly, I doubt that's even possible.

I've seen people mod/add games to NES Classic/SNES Classic... so if someone already fan translated those games then it'll probably get added in...
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! If it were that easy, we'd possibly have gotten Mother 3 by now maybe. No, fan translations are unofficial by their very nature, and, while I admit ignorance to how it works legally, I doubt Nintendo could just use them.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805They absolutely can. They just won't, because they're Nintendo, and interacting with their fan community is something they adamantly refuse to do for whatever reason.
I'm pretty sure we're talking about fans modding the English versions in, not Nintendo doing it. And yeah, that's definitely possible since they're basically just a collection of roms with a custom emulator. Hackers have already figured out how to replace and inject new roms without bricking the system, so as long someone has already made a English patch you could just inject that in there. You could have done that already with the regular NES Classic.
I mean, are there fan translations of these games at all? Because if there are, then hot damn, there are some very tenacious folks out there.
(Incidentally, I'm rather surprised that there's a Famicom game of DragonBall Z, but maybe I shouldn't be that surprised because DBZ has been around in Japan way before anyone in America knew about it...)

I'm not gonna peg the cheap look too much, minding that battery-friendly mobile games are more desirable to me than guzzlers like the Injustice mobile games.
'sides, no matter how much money's put into the game proper buying 5% stock from Japan's biggest mobile dev is anything but a cheap investment.
