An N64 controller that grants your left thumb access to both the analog stick and the d-pad without changing your grip?

Why wasn't this considered with the original?

(Yes, I know the tale of "that weird nub is just gonna get in the way, people are used to d-pads" thing.)

Iwata is Binding of Issac's Daily Run character today on what would've been his 58th birthday.

Nintendo's Q3 2017 briefing has been scheduled for January 31st.

Are we getting a new Nintendo Direct next week?

I certainly hope so. I also hope that the next Nintendo Direct has information on the upcoming Fire Emblem game and Shin Megami Tensei V.

A January Nintendo Direct is always expected, so it's just a matter of when exactly.

Remember that the indie game Fe for Switch was leaked and is expected to make an appearance in the Direct.

So guess who found himself a SNES Classic Edition at his local Target and is painfully realizing that he might be really rusty at the classic games?

I see I'm not the only one who, against all odds, found an SNES Classic in stock recently.

I actually just about walked out of the local Best Buy empty-handed in total disinterest until I passed by a stack of SNES Classics. There had to be at least 7 or 8 of them there! Needless to say, I took one home before that stack disappeared for good, hoping that other people who aren't scalpers can do the same if they choose to shop there.

Did Nintendo suddenly decide to extend the production run into 2018 or something? It's certainly not holiday season anymore, but being Nintendo products, I can't see these stocks lasting for much longer.

They haven't discontinued them, but i also remember them saying they want them to last a little longer than the NES Classic before discontinuing.

They extended the manufacturing of the SNES classic into 2018, I don't remember if it was until the end or not. NES Classic is similar.

I've seen loads of them around.

Until recently EB Games here had a stack of them sitting around.

And despite them being gone I know for a fact some other retailers still have them around.

Nintendo files trademark for 1080°.

Probably just a standard refile.
