The only villain I could find was Aku Kwesi he was in Intergang and he is responsible for her mother's death.
Vixen only had one or two solo issues she is mainly in a team setting like Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad, and Justice League or teaming up with Animal Man. So she mainly fights villains in a team setting.
In her solo issues she fought poachers.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureShe fought an adaptation of Anansi the Spider once while in the JLA, who is portrayed as being more or less the devil for people with animal powers. He spouts some vague warnings about being in control of her story or something and having unknown plans for her, and then never appeared again.
It was a pretty "ugh" worthy portrayal, though.
Edit: Comicvine's "enemies" search has it's problems, but I managed to find another Vixen villainess. Looks like another "ugh" moment. It appears DC went with the whole "African heroes should have over-the-top African villains" bit with her.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Wait, Anansi is a villian in the comics?
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’He was bound to be at some point, considering the standard set by most of his peers.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!DC portrays him as a villain. He also appears in Marvel Comics, but he's more enigmatic and "maybe good, maybe immoral" there.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It just seems weird to me since I remember him being a hero in Static Shock.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’That was a hero using his name, not Anansi himself.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Last I checked, DC's Anansi was more of a well-intentioned extremist than an outright villain.
So would you guys like Mari's powers to be connected to the Red or keep her powers separate from it?
IIRC, Static Shock's Anansi was a Legacy Character from the initial Anansi.
I also think his first episode was from before DC took over the show (though his second episode definitely wasn't).
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Ladies and gentleman, we have our Vixen!
The person they picked could potentially play her in live action on Arrow, The Flash, or Legends of Tomorrow.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureIt seems like there will be a The CW shrine on my balcony soon if they do live!Hawkgirl (with possible series to boot) and animated Vixen.
This is a little old but CW Seed is saying Vixen will premiere on August 25th.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI really hope Green Arrow, Black Canary, Vixen, Atom, Katana, Hawkgirl and others make it to the DCEU Justice League but I'm glad the tv and film universes are separate.

Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherI wouldn't count on Katana considering how Arrow can't use her due to the current Suicide Squad movie.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Hey she could join later if she survives.
I think they should let all the different media freely use all the characters
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherSo how do people feel about Cisco giving Mari her name?
It's a little disappointing that every superhero/villain name in the Arrowverse comes from Cisco these days (and if it doesn't there's always a point made about it). Mari in particular doesn't seem like she would be receptive of some random guy just deciding to name her something because he thinks its cool, so the trailer makes Cisco look a bit presumptuous.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Which is very ironic as he has named a lot of characters except himself (for those who don't know, he's based on the superhero Vibe from the comics.)
Cisco: I think I'll call her Vixen.
Mari: That's a coincidence, I already decided to call myself that when I got these powers.
Problem solved.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Huh. It premieres on Tuesday. I was hoping I had more time to watch The Flash before this aired but that hasn't been put u on Netflix.
If this is as integrated into the Arrowverse as they say, I wonder if they're going to cast a live action Mari for appearances in Arrow or Flash somewhere down the line.

What does Vixen have in the way of villains?
