What is an acceptable length for an example quote on a work page?

I am referring to Interstellar, where the quote for Anti-Intellectualism runs over 16 lines. IMO, it adds little to the point but clutters up the page. Wouldn't it be good enough to have the "extended version" on the trope page and keep the work page more streamlined, particularly for a troperific work like this one?

Opinions?

Rule of thumb suggestion: less than 5 lines (line six would be citing where the quote is from).

Either nuke that or move it to Quotes.Interstellar (which doesn't exist as of this post). Waaaaay too long for an entry on either a work or a trope page.

I cut the quote short and left a reference to this thread.
