Suggestion: Sand Necktie

This trope was recently split from Buried Alive, so let's start with the suggestions to illustrate it.

I'll begin with one from a page I started myself (Sur la piste du Marsupilami), just because it needs the exposure: [1]◊

That's not bad; the last panel of this would be pretty good too, although it might be a little texty. This◊ is from the movie version of that scene.

Something to Tide you over was exactly what I was thinking for this.

2.2, but it is missing the "drown when the tide comes in" bit of information, which seems important. Can the caption be about that?

I like that image, with a caption like "Waiting for the rising tide" or some such.

The crab does add a bit of danger. Even if it's just comical in that case.

The "drown when the tide comes in" isn't a systematic part of the trope; most often than not, the examples happen in the desert, so a picture need not show that.

I think 5 is good.

I don't think it's too late until the topic is locked. A new picture will just need to be better than the leading suggestion to change people's minds is all
