with his bare hands, and dodges a Battle Ox's axe while rolling to keep his balance.
Tristan dodges a Prisman's lasers while taunting it into blasting at him more, and dodges Root Water's attacks in slow motion.
Tea also gets in on the action by dodging fire on her Seiyaryu, outrunning a Jirai Gumo, and sliding into a small tunnel to escape Gokibores.
Solomon Muto fends off a pack of Flower Wolves by himself with a torch. (For about 5 seconds, but hey.) And he outsmarts a Stealth Bird in stealth mode.

Also, Shadi has become hilarious to me ever since I learned Wayne Grayson voices him (and Dartz) in the dub because I keep hearing traces of Joey's voice in his.
EDIT: Man, if Yami Bakura had won the anime's Duelist Kingdom duel he'd have won everything, since Yugi's friends would be soulless, Ryou would be suppressed, Yugi/Yami Yugi would be sent to the Shadow Realm and/or dead, and he'd have the Puzzle.
And Pegasus's guards would eventually find 4 unconscious/dead kids in the forest XD; The change wouldn't need to be major, either. If Yami Bakura hadn't played the Lady of Faith early in anticipation of using her against Tristan and Tea (Dark Magician would have beaten Joey), Ryou wouldn't have been able to control any monsters but Yugi's. (Unless he tried to control Yami Bakura himself. That would be awesome.)

That is just badass. Why couldn't the main series have something like that?
It had more action-y stuff in the Legendary Heroes arc, the Virtual World arc, and Dawn of the Duel.
The main reason was because Takahashi conceived the manga as a series where the protagonist doesn't physically fight but wins through games, leaving the action to characters like Joey and Kaiba XD
