Ambiguous Name: Little Jimmy

The trope for this is supposed to be "a young character without any distinguishable traits other than complete ignorance related to the subject at hand". After looking it over, I can't help but noticing that the title seems rather non-indicative, seeing that it's named after the character of Little Jimmy from Mr. Wizard. Because of that, a lot of people who have probably never seen or ever heard of Mr. Wizard will have no idea what the trope is about until they click on it. I admit that I didn't know what that trope was about until I clicked on it, so I suggest that this trope be given a new name. Something along the lines of Ignorant Youngster or something.

This is a classic "I think the name is bad" Opening post. We don't remname just because someone thinks th e name is porr. We rename when the name is broken or bad. If the name is broken or bad, there is evidence of that, in the form of bad examples, lack of use in a trope that should have more examples than it does, or confusion between this trope and another trope or tropes.

To get the thread opened, you need to provide that evidence that the name is broken, in the form of a wick check; a demonstration that the examples are poor; or evidence that the name is causing confusion.
