You know, looking back at my application I've realized just how RIDICULOUSLY convenient Malsch is.

Anyway, it's past my bedtime right now. I'll enter the RP when I wake up.

Why all of the Imperial Guards remind me of Oblivion is beyond me. My first impression of them was to think of them like the guards of Dishonored - except in a feudal setting.

I have a few ideas but I honestly don't know how to fit in a RP without a push. I think they will lead me to roleplaying with myself. :/

[up] No harm in laying your ideas out there. What did you have in mind?

Double post, message for players.

Currently introducing NP Cs for the players to interact with. Going to do it one party member at a time until all player characters are united as one group in the story. It might take a day or two, but I WILL get to everyone. No one should feel left out, after all. Started with Daltar's character, Selene. If you have any suggestions or questions, let me know below.

Why all of the Imperial Guards remind me of Oblivion is beyond me.

Probably because we've all been having them yell, "Stop right there, criminal sc-*shot*

This is an interesting way to go; using GMPCs to facilitate steering the plot in the right direction. Can be useful, can chafe depending on the group. I'll be watching the thread.

Figured I'd make it clear that A: I'm still here, and B: Malsch is still trying to figure out how to get in.

Not going to be able to participate in the RP again until tomorrow or very late tonight. Sorry about that.

As always, a reminder: you are free to create your own NP Cs or use existing ones to advance the plot if you need to. Have fun!

Sorry for taking too long (I lost my internet connection last night) and then suddenly dropping a huge post of dubious quality, but now I'm here~

I already have something planned for my character... I intend to make a NPC he knows find him and recruit him into the ragtag group of misfits' party. Shouldn't be hard, knowing that a person who's been 6 years or so in the military probably has contacts.

But from there on I'll need the GM's help to properly introduce the group, etc.

[up] Okay. PM me with the any ideas you have when you're ready or simply post them here. Either's good.

Sorry, new post is taking a rather long time to come up with between exhaustion (7 mile run at an 8 minute pace, at 5 in the morning; I'm sore all over) and inability to come up with new ideas. I'll try to get on it either tomorrow or Saturday.

I'll be unable to use my internet for a few weeks, starting from Saturday... I don't know whether I'll be able to catch up with the RP later, but I sure hope I can. We'll see.

Malsch's band has a name! And it's incredibly unoriginal!

In-verse, I blame it on being a spur-of-the-moment decision by the lumberjacks. Meta? I'm terrible at naming.

Thoughts on my attempts to give Malsch a "lower-class hick" accent? Can everyone understand him okay?

[up] I for one, don't find see a problem with it. In fact, I think it gives him a bit of charm.

Message to players: I've been a little over-involved in the RP as the GM. I intend to take step back from the story in the very near future so that the story can be that of who it rightfully should belong to: you, the players.

I will still insert a few NP Cs in to give the player characters some adversity to overcome, but I won't meddle overmuch.

As always, you are free to create your own NP Cs if you feel they are needed to advance the plot. You are also free to take control of existing NP Cs if it tickles your fancy. Please note: if the NPC in question was created by another player, do ask their permission first. It's only good manners.

As always, post ANY questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions in this thread. If you'd rather not discuss it here for all to see, PM me.

Thank you for your time and participation.

I'd say one of my big problems in an RP is that my posts tend to be more reactionary than anything. No chance I'd be a decent GM ever, and honestly I'm not gonna supply many subplots of my own very often either. I also don't trust myself to keep NP Cs consistent (aside from the fact that I usually don't know what their creators had in mind for them).

In other words: Feel free to keep using NPC interference with me, at least until I join up with the other players. From there I should bounce off everyone else enough to merit my participation, at least.

I'm here but I stopped following it since everyone (and the GM) dropped it.

Which is a shame, since it has a lot of potential imo.

If it ever starts up again I'll still play, but since the GM seems to have dropped it...
