I just noticed this Joker isn't wearing shoes.
In the scenes when he is breaking out of Arkham he is not wearing shoes. Other scenes in the movie he wears shoes.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAt least his hair isn't in reggae locks.
I don't have a problem with the tattoos or metal teeth at all.
He sort of had hair like that in the Batman cartoon from the early 2000s.
I'm okay with most of the tattoos the only ones I don't like are on his face. I'm fine with the metal teeth because I know they are caps note because Batman punched out his teeth.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThat's the joke.
I don't have a problem with that version of the character either if I'm honest. I feel the characters are flexible enough to allow deviations like that.
Though I do find odd that dreadlock Joker is the only version where he's voiced by a black VA. Weird coincidence that.

I always found the tendency to cherry pick that weird, as if any difference in physical appearance from what people are used to is enough to make a character "bad." But then, we got the same sort of reaction from this Joker, and iirc Ledger's Joker got it until people saw his movie and suddenly everyone thought he was the template for the character.
But then, that show was the first big Batman tv show after the DCAU, so that sort of thing is to be expected.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I liked Richardson Joker. Don't be hatin' just because he's a better criminal mastermind than you are.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Joker is a character who's been characterized in may different ways over the decades, depending on who's writing him at the time. He's just a character that lends himself well to many different interpretations.
Not just because he have diferent take(so was superman, batman, luthor or many other) but because in his core he is changing, if you change to much a chararter like Bv S did with Superman or Batman people complain but Joker is so abstract that you could do something like Dark knight and get away with it.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The irony is I think The Batman was one of the few adaptations that really nail the essence of Joker's character, such that he could even enter the series with a different outfit and look and still instantly feel like Joker.
Which is why people complaining about the length of his hair of all things just makes me sigh.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I need to watch it. I know it is on Netflix but it sometimes is daunting wanting to watch a show then you notice the number of seasons. I think I watched one or two back then and remember seeing advertising for the merchandise of that series.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe Batman's Joker is actually more believable as an insane man than most versions of the character. Then again, you rarely get the sense he's actually smart, which is the weakest part about him— overall, he comes off as a big petty child (much like TB's Penguin, come to think about it) who likes to talk about basic Joker cliches but without really getting them like most other modern versions do. It can often feel like he's going through the motions. That's more important, I think, than details like his hair or lack of shoes, or how he knows kung fu.
And it's not like TB couldn't do actually smart villains when it wanted to, like its versions of the Riddler and Hugo Strange proved.
When he was at the top of his game, in episodes like the one about going into his mind, or when he played Batman, he could be great. But that only happened when the writers really cut loose with his insanity, where this version actually did consistently outmatch that of TAS.

Margot Robbie and David Ayer defend Harley Quinn's outfit in Suicide Squad
Margot Robbie says she doesn't personally like wearing the hot pants because of what she likes eating for lunch; though Harley Quinn doesn't wear them because they're sexy she wears them because they have glitter on them. She half jokingly said she wouldn't wear them in the sequel.
Margot Robbie said a few months ago when she brought up testing other costumes she said in the sequel she wants to wear the classic jester costume.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThe Batman was one of those shows that had a lackluster first season and took a while to Grow The Beard. Like Teen Titans, actually.
*4: If you're going to binge it while never having seen iy, you should probably start with some later ones.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It was odd, 'cause it went up and down quality. Generally the first, third and fifth seasons were mostly bad, and the second and fourth seasons were mostly good.
Can't really complain about that issue when the Joker is seen shirtless in most of his outfits in this film (and I believe he's also bare-foot in some of them as well).
More people are saying that the reshoots were to add comedy.
And apparently they added more action with the Squad as a team.
Still not an actual source in sight. He was totally wrong about the James Wan thing too. Plus last time his source said that 'all the jokes were in the trailer' , and then a week later there's a trailer that's nothing but new jokes.
There is a difference between "reshoots include more comedy" and "reshoots turn it into a comedy." Is it certainly possible, even likely, that the reshoots would include some humorous moments.
Joker action figure w/ 20 points of articulation, cane and interchangeable heads.
