If you've been on TV Tropes for some time now then you're familiar with editing tips like Square Peg Round Trope and Zero Context Example. The forums are pretty easy. Don't be insulting and don't derail the conversation.

Hi! I've been on TV Tropes for some time now but this is my first time on the forums. Just wondered if there is anything I should know, rules, street smarts, etc. If anybody has any tips for a newcomer like me, I'd really appreciate it!
