i think in Phineas and Ferb the creators voice Major Monogram and Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I like Burgess as a Character, but yeah, that show is kind of lame.
Not really a fan of the either two, either. I do applaud CN for making more shows with girl protagonists (And created by girls) though. They just aren't my cup of tea...

Twelve Forever was pretty good. I'd like to see that one get greenlight...and I'm a guy! My only concern is that people might think it's ripping off Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"I can see that, too, now that I think about it.
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"Kirby-Usa will never grow up if she never stops abusing magic portal keys
I don't know why, but most modern CN pilots have this vauge hard to describe ("forced" maybe?) vibe that I dislike. (though the vibes strangely always disappear when I watch a pilot after being familiar with the show) Anyways here's my hot phresh opinions:
Twelve Forever: The best of the bunch, the vibe I was rambling about earlier being the only thing I really dislike about it.
Jammers: I unironically laughed at the gag where the one boy takes of his suit to reveal another one, but for the most part it's not my cup of tea.
Ridin' with Burgess: you can really feel the "made by a regular show alum". A bit boring and bland.
my blogBurgess M...Meredith has some great accents going, but I can't help feeling the whole thing is one big classist joke
I'm not sure the creator voicing the main character is a TREND, so much as it's the most convenient if the creator wants enough control of the cartoon. Voicing it yourself guarantees the focus is as accurately conveyed to your direction as possible. It's the whole reason Seth Mac Farlane was insistent to voice so many main characters in his first 2 shows, because they both grew out of him fooling around with voices in college, and from his musical training.
Now, why the large amount of creators are ALSO voice actors these days? That I can't guess why.
Ridin': It's nice seeing a sexy female character who is an honest PRINCIPLE role in a kids Western cartoon for once (and she's voiced by my favorite voice actor). That aside, I really can't find a lot to like in here. Hip hop is not my thing, and the premise alone is just random to me, I keep trying to figure out why this premise must be told.

Er, if you don't mind my asking, who's Matt Berry?
You can also hear him on Harvey beaks.
"We be we baby!"Forever Twelve- I quite like that, I could see myself making time to watch it/buying digital copies. The it has a nice do-anything premise, and I rather liked the leads.
Jammers - Too weird for me.
Riding with Burgess - This is a pretty good premise, would you mind doing something with it?
God I love the Forever Twelve cartoon! So much FUN!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Jammers: Sorry - not feeling this; I'll stick with Uncle Grandpa - despite how dumb thst show can be, it looks and feels miles better than... this. Now who wants to bet CN will make this over the other two, which are far superior to this, but flawed otherwise?
As For What the creator, Lizz Hickey, said about it (Jammers): i made this pilot because i want the world to know there isn’t just action. drama. sadness. tom cruise mission impossible movies. sci-fi. the simpsons. yankee candles. legos. harry potter (ok ya which is good tbh)—–there’s also weird jokes that exist!cartoons, to me, should be surprising, funny, and full of motion. to other people, they’re more emotional and story-driven. i personally want to be bombarded with jokes and scares when i watch cartoons. my short attention span throughout my life taught me to like this. there are girls and boys out there that are gross and fun and strange and like to be that way. there are people that enjoy unusual humor. i hope everyone can find themselves in one of my characters. and if you can’t, that’s cool too. there are a lot of awesome cartoons out there to watch! i can only thank Cartoon Network over and over for helping me make my dream come true. i also thank everyone of my friends past and present who have supported jeremy, carol, and danny, when i gave live-readings of my gross comics in new york, and sat at comic book conventions trading my jammers zines away. Also an enormous thanks to MATT MOSES and his comics publishing company HIC AND HOC who you can find EVERYWHERE for giving a real **** about my characters. He published a very strange thing and I will forever appreciate him and his great taste. Buy their books!!!! thanks guys. keep being yourself, luzz hockey
Now, my take on this: I can respect this - but you have to try harder than that. You have to tighten your writing, make your stories worth sitting through, make your characters likable, and most importantly. make sure it looks good and well designed; simplicity of it all be darned. I don't get that vibe from this, hence why I'd rather stick to Uncle Grandpa (but will always aim higher than that, despite my respect for UG, knowing how dumb that show can come off, similar to Ren And Stimpy and Cow And Chicken, for example.).
I get that not every cartoon needs to be serious, but at least make it good enough that it can be taken seriously as entertainment at face value. Or else don't expect to get any respect or admiration for your work all that much, especially in this day and age where people crave more emotional depth and conflict in their cartoons, like some have succeeded in doing, hence all the love and praise they legitimately get - despite how much of a double-edged sword that can be at times, too, from my own experiences.
As for the other 2...
Ridin' with Burgess: Seems and feels like something for Adult Swim, but not quite. Not something I could tune into easily, even with good word-of-mouth behind it, IMHO. It feels like it has Regular Show 's level of potential (as in, it could get made and hopefully get better with time!), but it is lacking that extra oomph that made me take Regular Show over Adventure Time any day of the week (provided it was a good episode, of course!).
12 Forever: Seems like it's trying too hard to be like Adventure Time and/or Star Vs The Forces Of Evil. Thanks and all, but I'll stick with Penn Zero Part Time Hero, thank you very much (for all the bum rap and ignorance Penn Zero gets, at least it's consistent and makes sense of its setup and concept, unlike what this did, IMHO). I know the point was make the world of our titular character crazy and dreamlike and all, and I could admire that, but I wasn't truly grabbed by any of this... Real shame, I'm usually a sucker for crazy stuff over serious stuff in my cartoons. Maybe with a little fine-tuning, this has potential to make it. The most out of all of these 3 anyway...
I'd still prefer Lakewood Plaza Turbo and/or Back To Backspace over any of these, TBH.., I wish they hadn't got shelved, but I guess it's time to move on, as much as I don't want to for how sad I feel about the missed opportunity for both of my preferred examples of what I'd like to see on CN someday.

New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Oh yeah, we haven't heard much about LPT and BTB, have we?
I wonder what got them shelved...
IF a pilot is picked up for a series, it takes a long time for it to develop, let alone produce.
Yaaay new pilots!!
Jammers: I said it on Tumblr, and I'll say it here: This shit is so bad, I actually hope its greenlit so the people complaining about Uncle Grandpa have a new target. It's like they took all the complaints from people who've never watched Uncle Grandpa (ugly characters, bad animation, random gross out jokes everywhere, total randomness with no plot, annoying characters) and actually made a show out of it.
Ridin with Burgess: Hey have you guys ever seen Regular show? Yeah it's basically Regular Show in space. With people. There's not much more I can say, except with all the characters besides Burgess being POC (including his boss the president), I can't help but wonder if there's some subtext going on with a group of racial minorities having to deal with their obnoxious wigger friend. That's probably just me reading too much into it.
Twelve Forever: Easily the best of the bunch (not including Tome because, well, that got greenlit). The art style is fun and unlike a lot of stuff on CN now (besides the body builder dudes who look straight out of AT), it's got a fun premise, I like the characters, it's just a lot of fun. I love the design of the Butt Witch (yes thats her official name according to her model sheet).
Also its interesting that 2 of the 3 new pilots were created by women (and BTB was co-created by one). Maybe now people will stop listening to Paul Dini's lies. But they probably won't.
Paul Dini's lies?
About how Young Justice was cancelled because girls liked it. Even though Greg Weisman, the shows creator, said it was because Mattel pulled out of the toy line. What Dini said went viral about a year ago, despite him never working on YJ.
Even if I wouldn't put it like that, Paperbritt, you're probably right about Burgess pulling a Kansas City Worldskippers in that way, only they have to force a happy ending for TV.
While I do agree that Greg was probably right, doing what they are doing now doesn't really say much about what they were doing then as there has been a major change in upper management.
Ridin' with Burgess created by Andres Salaff
I really don't know what to say about this one.
...
...Meh?
Once again, the creator voices the main character. Seems to be some kind of trend that CN is fond of, innit? Don't know what the general consensus is on that...
