The Price of Eminance

Alright, hello, it is nice too meet you all.... I've looked aorund on here before, and immediately got lost. However! I do have faith in this! Now, this thread RP is one I've actually started in a different part of the interwebs as well, however, I was thinking that if I threw it open too the voracious and very interesting writers of Tv Tropes..... things might even get more wacky. Anyway, here is what I was doing.

- I have a VERY fleshed out world in which too play in with a partially set story line. Potentially, there are 800 years of history preset too play through.... but I doubt you people will let history take it's course.

- I have been told the style and such is very "A Game of Thrones" esque, but let me tell you ASOIF watchers and readers.... this is NOT the war of five kings! If anything.... this is Aegon's Conquest.

- Now, in terms of mechanics and such.... I'm going to be running the dozens of NP Cs, who will be the majority of the characters you'll be interacting with. On that note.... essentially, (Sorry, I only kinda looked around, so I'm not sure what is standard here) you'll just write down what you say and do and such, and I'll write everything else! Try not too be too stupid... your character can and will die, and their child of your choice shall take their place.

- You'll be playing as one of the countless lord, many dukes, or several kings of the realm. I will partially center the story on you in any given realm.. I won't TRY too kill you, it is just a serious possibility. If I can generate enough interest, 5-15 people, then I will start talking about the world and such. Just be like the guy who was interested before I said anything, it'll be cool.

- Anyway, have fun, and I'll see about joining other things!

So, too once again elaborate, this will be very, very slightly game of thronesish. Frankly, I'm try too stay away from that..... and I'll not be Martin, no "Oh My~" Scenes! So..... too elaborate, your goal is too climb as high as you want. Trying not to die is a valid goal, however, so is becoming king.

Anyway, as I am new here, I hope someone can spread it around ! But, for now, it'll probably not start soon.... I need to get over a cold. Wsh me luck please!

Re: spreading the word: usually, interested people would poke their heads in the thread sooner or later. Not everything gets off the ground at the first try, though.

Sounds interesting. I'd like to see more regarding the world, however.

Interested. Maybe if you could give us a rundown of the world? Is it human or are there other PC races? How much magic is there? What's the tech level? How much inout will we get into building our respective baronies/duchies/counties?

May I suggest starting us all at the same social level? Otherwise everyone will want to be a Duke.
