I do like the german prounciation. I just don't mind the other pronunciations as she is one of the few heroes that uses their actual names instead of a codename in-game.
Also I have to say, I love Symmetra's new skin mainly because her hand. Definetly going to be gunning for that. Always loved Magicians in games like these although I am a bit sad that this means we will likely never see a magician themed hero.
Brigitte has some glaring weaknesses like range or unable to handle too much spam.
The problem is that most of her weaknesses can be easily covered by Reinhardt and coupled with how strong Hanzo is right now (and by extension, Zarya), the meta right now isn't the most beloved one.
So Brigitte and Hanzo definitely need some looking at. Brigitte got her stun cooldown to 6 seconds which is fine. Hanzo on the other hand needs some looking at, Storm Arrow shouldn't kill you at long ranges with a single headshot
Uni catUnrelated, but one idea I've always been fond of is a Support Hero who can place jump pads and health packs. Maybe give them the ability to do levels 1 and 2 for them, with the Level 2 Jump Pads being the crazy ones we're familiar with and the Level 1 ones just being two or three times better than a normal jump.

An idle musing: nobody at silver Elo ever expects Mei to be vertically mobile. Case in point.
I would like that too but Builders are in an awkward spot right now as they are basically Crutch Character for the lower ranks.
Well we will see how Symmetra 3.0 will turn out, her giving high ground to other characters that couldn't before reach it will most likely have some impact, I totally call Sym+Bastion becoming a thing on Anubis.
Nice, though throwing the ult into a matrixing D.va was a bold move.

If Blizzard has a solid concept for a hero, they aren't going to throw it out just because it happens to be thematically similar to a single skin an existing hero has.
I don't believe, for example, the existence of the Scavenger D. Va skins is a major consideration as to whether or not the Queen of Junkertown ever becomes playable.
I do appreciate how Brigitte made Bastion and Junkrat more viable.
And of course, Pharah doesn't give a shit about Brigitte.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Pharah doesn't give a shit in general. Only Widowmaker can challenge a really good pharah (that is well supported)
Uni catThere was one time where my team was composed of Mc Cree, Soldier, and Widowmaker...and still couldn't take out the enemy Pharmercy.
It had gotten so bad, to the point of them being more or less untouched for a a whole minute and a half. So I decided to take care of it myself as Zenyatta...and managed to take out in less than 5 seconds.
That game I also got two golds in elim, bringing my golds to total of four. So at the end of the game I typed out "Do I have to do everything around here"
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Hitscan heroes can render her useless but usually only in well coordinated teams and the hitscan player isn't trash.
Good widows though can completely render her useless on her own. The only way to fight them is to pretty much sneak up on them and even then you still risk getting instagibbed.
I recall the really early alphas of Overwatch the only heroes available were Reaper, Tracer, Widow and Pharah.
Must have sucked being the reaper
Uni catBack before Reaper's massive buffs, there was just no reason to pick him.
Needs an anti-tanker? Well, just use Tracer instead. Sure, she's more fragile, but she can be far more mobile and versatile.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Okay I've seen people complaining about the Moira dance because they expected something more........ Irish I guess.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah they could have gone for Riverdance or something, but this one is okay.
People just don't appreciate the David Bowie cybergoth rave.
This song needs more love. Its a weird dance. She's a weird person. It fits.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireGeneticist, Amoral, Weeaboo, Goth, Androgenous and worst of all, a Genji Counter.
Uni catHad a couple of odd games where, you know, odd tankless compositions, everyone's scattered around, and anyway: I just want you all to know, while I am fine with the function in of itself, spamming 'I need healing' will not get you your healing any faster. Well, I suppose it might, at the risk of tilting your healer off of the planet, but at any rate it won't help if the healer has directly died in front of you or you are standing just, just, just out of line of sight high-up.
Ah, but 'twas all worthwhile for the one game after, where I think the Winston said 'gj team, especially Mercy'.
I think I would like it if 'I need healing' was read aloud to everyone. It still isn't, right?note I think it was a bad choice to make it silent. I understand it's not as relevant to people who aren't healers, but it's important to understand how the rest of your team is working together, and it can be confusing to have a Zen or a Mercy who's suddenly spamming 'Understood / Group up'. Also even for others, knowing a teammate is low on health can be important; it dictates if they're willing to push in, if you should focus on covering them more, etc.
And also since I end up playing Support so often I would like it if everyone else too could suffer, when you get a bad apple.

Maybe they should make it so that you can't say "I need healing" until you're below a certain threshold of health, and you have to wait a couple seconds before you can use it again?
I wouldn't be opposed to putting a quick timer there, just to prevent spam. I don't know if I'd want to put in a threshold, though, simply because there is a risk of interfering with genuine, sensible use of the command. Let's say a Genji or Tracer is with the team, no one's directly attacking, they're a few health points down, the healer is right next to them but hasn't seen 'em. So sure, it'd be sensible to go grab the healer's attention and get a quick top-up, even if you've only got scratch damage. Or maybe you know you're about to dive in and you know you'll take a bit of damage, so you want an Orb of Harmony on you.
I think to an extent some poor or confusing use of voice commands is always going to happen, but more generally I think it can be important for everyone to hear the same things and know what everyone's saying to each other (group chat and whatnot aside). It's already a bit unintuitive when you yell out 'I need healing' and the rest of the team hears something different or a Torb starts coming at you with his hitting hammer out, mad about your inane avoidance of his glorious armour packs.

The one that always makes me tilt my head and think "Really?" is when someone messages "We need a healer"... in Mystery Heroes... where what you get is entirely random.
Anniversary Event is live
Download size for the patch is 1.2 GB

Doomfist is looking appetizing as ever.
He Blacc.
He Attacc.
But most importantly,
In a suit, he a snacc.
I mean it's okay to pronounce it different but since the lore has it that she was named by Reinhardt it can only really be the German pronunciation.
I admit I also call her Bridge-it in voice because it rolls of the tongue better in a heated battle. Just had to nitpick on this
