I'm absolutely loving Brigitte so far. I've only played her in No Limits so while there have been some relatively balanced comps there I don't have a full view of how she'd work in practice (2 Brigittes + 4 DPS worked more than it should've), but I'm absolutely loving her all the same. It feels to me that ideally you've got to be very aggressive, and I don't know if people will get better about shutting her down, but you can really disrupt tanks. And a lot of other people, too, for that matter. I love bashing into Rein when he's charging, or even just booping him off-course.
For my final arcade win, I went to FFA. Managed to get to 20, first-place winner, true champ. Bow before me, for I am one with the Brigitte. Had to feel a bit sorry for the McCree who solo-ulted me, to understandably no effect.

Playing aggressive is definitely how you have to play her, her lack of out of combat selfheal is really crippling otherwise.
Brigette is fun, but yeah the lack of self heal stinks. She definitely can’t be your main healer.
So April is Rising, June is Anniversary, do you think they’ll sneak in a new character in May? It seems like Blizzard is pacing themselves to have something new each month.
What did Blizzard do for anniversary last year? I forgot.
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!Charge for skins and emotes.
Besides some arcade changes and the addition of Black Forest, Castillo and Necropolis, not much. Worst event by far.
Uni catPretty much this, the event got panned really hard because it was basically supposed to be an Thank you to Overwatch fans but it was lackluster content wise and you had to pay out your ass if you wanted the skins as their was so many of them so grinding them with the lootbox system was less then optimal.
It was really controversial as a lot of folks thought it was a really money hungry move. Blizzard is an company that is certainly not strapped for cash so turning one of their games' birthday into a lootbox cash grab didn't go over well.
Random thought: Wonder what if Symmetra rework will add in a healing ability for her. Kaplan said that they don't want her to be a healer, but the dev team has gone back to their words before (AKA no Deathmatch).
Playing in No Limits, I'm finding Bastion to be an amazing counter to Brigitte.
Jeff said several times they do want to remain a niche character, but they acknowledge that she's inflexible. I think it comes down to her kit and how it hasn't evolved with the game; I don't think she needs to heal but she can't really support the team and her ultimates don't do a good job of turning the tide/keeping her team alive. I think her ultimates should be moved to her regular kit and her ult should be something else - no one's support ult debuffs people other than Sombra, so maybe she can do something like a mass-slow effect or Zenyatta Orb?
If they intend to keep her as support she needs some kind of heal or actual support ability.
My idea would be that photon-barrier should give temporary shields to people it passes through.
That's a good idea. They should do that.
Maybe a turret that gives large amounts of shields when close?

Not that big of a range but something that can be deployed in a spot and give x amount of shields per second to those around then have those shields decrease over time. Probably not targetable and could probably replace the near useless shield generator.
Thinking a little like Lucio’s jukebox ability in HOTS.
Huh, it occurred to me that Doomfist aside, all the new- heroes added since the game launched have been women (or female personality in Orisa's case). That's kinda cool. In face IIRC with Brigitte the roster of males and females are even (if you count Bastion as neither) at 13 each.

I think I mentioned that here a while ago. I suspect that trying to address the initial imbalance between genders has been one of the factors they've been considering going forward. Obviously not the only factor, what with Doomfist and all, but a factor nonetheless.

I know it's too soon but any candidates for 28?
If it goes down like last year, then maybe Emre. If not, July could be the month of popular demanded heroes so maybe they will go for Junker Queen.
I personally want to see what the hell has been going on with Hammond.
Uni catI laugh at the fact that 'boob armor' is supposed to be "unrealistic" by those so inclined to complain about such things (as spirit dragon tattoos and teleportation are a-ok) but we're supposed to believe it's more realistic that Brigitte, who is fairly stacked, smooshes her rack into that narrow cuirass and that she is still able to fight comfortably.
Teleportation and Spirit Dragons don't serve to sexualize a character.
Says you. I think spirit dragons are hawt.
Tattoos are pretty sexy.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I forgot sex became a sin again.
