So…

Last night, I was finding something to replace the Comixology apps on my iPad after they proved to have too much required storage space. Then I found "Madefire Motion Books & Comics".

I'll get to the point:

Pros:

  • In-App purchases.
  • Motion books are attention-grabbing.
  • Smaller storage space.
  • Freebies on Fridays.

Cons:

  • The app's library is kinda lacking compared to Comixology's.
  • No one to three-page previews.
  • Motion books can get a little quiet at times (no laser or crashing sound effects for Transformers Autocracy?)

I'm not trying to bash one app or the other, I'm only making some comparisons and wondering if this "Madefire" app is worth keeping.

Any tips or thoughts?

I wish absolutely every single comic on the planet was turned into a motion comic using Madefire's technology. Their motion comics are THAT immersive and amazing.

I envision the day when these things come with all-out voice acting. That will be the day...

Wouldn't you basically be watching a cartoon at that point?

It would cost less because there wouldn't be that much animation. Motion comics are basically in-between the two mediums.

And the more advanced the medium, the better the work
