The Wheel Of Time turns, ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten by the time the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the 4th Age by some, an age long past, an age yet to come, a wind faded on the broken jagged plains that had once been The Blight, and as it billowed the flaps of a simple brown cloak of a man with black hair and nothing left to fear, he rode on, and it faded into a simple memory on his journey. The wind, nor it's fading where the beginning- there are no beginnings nor endings to the Turning of the Wheel Of Time, but it was a beginning: a beginning to a new age, and a new story...

This is an RP for Robert Jordan's (amazing, award winning, groundbreaking, emotionally moving, jaw dropping, mind crushing, should sweeping, epic sprawling, heart wrenching): The Wheel of Time. You, the potential players, are the denizens of the newly minted 4th Age, 5 years after it's inception at the end of "A Memory Of Light".

The political scenario is simple: In the aftermath of Tamon Gaidon everything is in flux: The Black Tower is beginning earnest construction and their numbers are swelling by the day under the guidance of Logain, nations are struggling to handle the wake of the mass destruction and horror that gripped the world and some are barely avoiding collapse, while others are are capitalizing on the gain rapidly. The Children Of The Light have been evicted completely from most Western nations and make their temporary baser home at at Maine, where The First has welcomed them with surprisingly open arms. Andor and Cairhein toe the line to near unity under the direction of their shared queen, Elayne Trankand but fierce opponents stand on both sides of the merger- some out of patriotism, some out of fear that said Queen will command a empire to rival Author Hawking's should she succeed....And to match the Seanchan.

The Dragon's Peace takes hold, signed begrudgingly by the Empress Fortuona, who sits pensive in Seandar with her Prince (grumpily) at her side: solidifying her hold on her throne has been a long bloody process of five years...But at last she is ready to turn back her attention to the East, and contemplate if it was indeed, the right choice, to sign the Dragon's Peace to begin with.

The Aeil meanwhile, have all but completed their move to the Westerlands- save the Shadio who bare their pain and shame in the wastes without forgiveness- Septs lay scattered around the nations, the Aiel's warrior culture struggling to preserve itself in the face of their new role- as the enforcers and hands of the Dragon's Peace.

Male Channlers of all kinds and nations suddenly are coming into their own without fear of the Red Ajah- indeed the Reds have taken it upon them to recruit and scout as man males with the Gift as possible. Female Channlers swarm to the White Tower in numbers not seen since the it's founding. Sellswords have no shortage of work as nations and private powers alike struggle against one another, Darkfriends flee broken hearted deeper and deeper into the shadows, facing the grim reality that the Dark One himself has been defeated. Thousands are still in mourning, millions are working to rebuild- and at the center of it all....Is Tar Valon, and The White Tower- The Aes Sedai and their growing counterparts, the Asha'man. Warriors and Servants.

And now- at the center of it all as well....Is you- the player. You're character stands ready and poised- weather they know it or not, weather they are ready for it or not, to be the next subject of the Wheel's Endless Weavings....To help usher in the Dawn Of An Age.
