Seriously, there are a lot of potentially interesting match ups to talk about, wouldn't that be more enjoyable.

That being said, I do think he punched him but whether he did or not I think that and is the real point.

Tsuyu and Crowbro make a good combo.

I'm not sure what the kid with Kirishima can do, so I'm not sure how they fare against Cementoss other than Kirishima can get hard enough to cut skin and took on Tetsutetsu who could get as hard as steel.

Momo I'm hoping will realize she needs to do things herself instead of relying on Todoroki to guide her.

Grapes will get knocked out after trying to do something pervy to Midnight.

We still don't know what Kirishima's partner's and Jirou's partner's quirks are so we'll probably find that out here.

I can't help but feel her partners is rock related because of his appearance.

Kacchan is an insecure teenager going through an identity crisis. Add in some anger issues, and well, he's not a pleasant person to be around. That's what makes him interesting though. There's so many possibilities how he would turn out.

I don't think Momo is having a crush on Todo. Like Eraserhead said, she's only book smart and not that good at this practical application thing, and she's realizing this. Which is why she looks so down last chapter, with the "not sure if I can help about practical exam" thing. This chapter has Todo making all the decisions for her, so I guess she's feeling inadequate for it.

Rock-kid's hero name is Anima. So I guess make things alive? Golem creations?

You know, when I started reading this chapter and saw the environment Tsuyu and Tokoyami were in, I imagined them pulling off a certain kind of move.

Lo and behold, just a few pages later they did EXACTLY that move. That made me giddy.

I really don't get all the Kacchan hate going around. It's not like with Sasuke, where he is supposed to be seen as sympathetic. I'm pretty sure he is supposed to be an asshat.

On another note I'm not only looking forward to how Kacchan is going to develop (wether or not he is gonna break and turn villain), but also to how the others are gonna fare. Specifically Ochako and Aoyama. I really hope the author manages to give her a bit more substance after her training during the last arc. I'm also quite intrigued at what Kaminari and Ashido are gonna do. They seem to be the secondary characters in the spotlight this arc and both seem entertaining. Hopefully this will result in an interesting dynamic.

In Mina's stat page the author mentioned wanting to do more with her.

This may be the first time I'm sort of looking forward at how the anime will inevitably fillerize a manga.

That said, predictions: todoroki team will lose because he's just making all the decisions and she's just going with the flow, and midoriya will get seriously angry at kacchan for the first time. (Not as in 'I want to defeat you', but as in 'you're an insufferable jackass and I'be been repressing an urge to punch your face for a decade')

Yeah, I thought his plan also seemed odd. She's specialized in martial arts, no? And I doubt Aizawa's powers can cause items she's already made to dissolve.

So if anything, it would make more sense to have *her* stalling Aizawa while Todoroki uses his powers to boost his escape speed.

His plan doesn't involve the items she's made dissolving, it involves her noticing if abruptly she can't make something or if the process stops midway.

I don't remember her being said to specialize in martial arts, where did that come from?

Edit: Either way, it's not going to be effective because they're both still doing exactly what this test is supposed to help them improve.

Exactly.

I meant that she can create weapons and items to fight with that will remain even with her powers locked.

By martial arts I mean that she primarily fights with weapons, and she also placed above Todoroki in the physical test.

It would make way more sense for her to attempt to stall Aizawa. Todoroki with his powers locked is essentially just reduced to his fists against another martial arts expert, but Todoroki could use the vital few moments to put a huge distance between himself and Aizawa were Momo to stall him instead.

I suppose that would make sense, but again, the fact that he didn't think about that, and she didn't mention it if she thought about it (which she probably did) is the reason they're paired together and are fighting who they are fighting.

Edit: But I don't think his plan involves his powers being locked. They're trying to find him first so she can make a break for it and he can get the jump on him before Aizawa can look at him. Trying to cover both angles. It just so happens that it might be better for them to reverse which role they're playing.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of the popularity poll next week. I'm expecting to see Todoroki at #2 or #3 at the very least, as he got that spectacular entry just as the poll was announced.

I'm just really curious to see where Tsuyu is gonna land, considering she's the character with the single highest amount of fanart dedicated to her, though that amount has eased up a bit for the last couple of months.

The poll results are finally out. Deku is 1st, Todoroki 2nd, Kacchan 3rd. Ochako and All Might are 4th and 5th. The rest you'll have to wait for when its out.

Also saw snippets of this weeks chapter. Deku intentionally punches Kacchan and All Might also punches Baku in the gut. Chapter ends with Deku using one of Kacchans grenades on his arm to attack All Might with while Baku yells at him to fire.

Deku 1st? Good. That's how it should be. Ochako is surprisingly high up then considering her recent lack of screen time.

How many votes do the Japanese get when voting anyways? The English survey thing only allowed for one option, which was a bummer.

I'm not sure, but there wasn't really high numbers for each character per vote. The top three were the only ones to get more than 700 votes (Kacchan being above 1500 at third).

Also Katsura (Gintama), Deku's Shoe, and Naruto all got one vote somehow.
