In the most ridiculously terrible way possible. And his entire concern is he get his victory how he wants it. And his shrieking death threats and verbal abuse when he doesn't get his way?
Seriously, he's a prick. he's always been a prick. And maybe he'll stop being a prick in the future, but it sure hasn't happened yet.
Also, did we get a hint to Midnight's quirk here??
Well, I'm never expecting him to stop being a dick so that thought doesn't cross my mind but either way being pissed at your opponent for not giving it his all and then just throwing the match is nothing something I can blame him for no matter how he says it. You can call that a temper tantrum, and maybe it is, but he's not wrong. People want to win on their terms, I don't particularly find anything wrong about that either.
You keep calling him abusive but the most abusing he's done of anyone in awhile is the name calling and general rudeness.

Well, tough for him. If he wasn't such a self absorbed wanker, he would have noticed Todoroki has serious issues that may be a bit more important than Bakugo's dick measuring contest.
I also did say 'verbal' abuse in this context.

I don't think that's abuse in this context. And, frankly, if that was going to still be an issue for Shouto, he really should have dropped out before the match started. Bakugou told him what he expected and he probably already knew what it would take to win.
It's not being a "wanker" to expect your opponent to give you the respect of trying your all. He went through this whole thing with Izuku already.
Besides, it's not like this outcome will be good for either of them.

In the match, Todoroki said something to the effect of "Ever since the fight with Midoriya, I've lost my purpose to be here". Basically, everything is Deku's fault .
I like how it happened though. People don't fully recover from childhood abuse and trauma from a single pep talk.
I also like that bit.
43 already has English scans.
Well, that wasn't how I was expecting for it to end. It'll be interesting to see how it affects Bakugou.
Huh, I wonder where the "he threw up fight" came from .-. I mean he clearly didn't threw the fight xD
Is that what people were making a fuss over? Bakugou didn't attack him when he was down, he yelled at him for putting up a crappy showing.
Yeah, Shoto's inability to give 100% is completely understandable, but in this case I find Kacchan's rage understandable too.
Still, it's interesting how Kacchan manages to bring out the dark side of shonen stereotypes: wanting to be the number one, wanting his opponents to give their best...
This is true.
Still, I'm kinda hoping it bite Bakugou in the ass as well. Like, he keeps doing this shit, and no one actually wants to be around him, forcing him to realize that he needs to change, even if he can't ever stop being a dick.
One Strip! One Strip!Kirishima can take it because he's hard enough to handle him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Lewd.
Secret SignatureOr maybe he'll decide that becoming NĀ°1 villain is the best way for him to get to fight with the NĀ°1 hero. :P
You know I realize that face he made looked like he was about to cry before he got knocked out by Midnight. Usually when he's pissed he looks like the veins in his eyes are going to burst, or like a wild animal about to attack his prey.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Well, before the last hit, he was talking about how he needs to prove he's the very best, he deserves to be number 1, and that he's better than Deku.
Kid's got a massive inferiority complex, yo.
Maybe, maybe not, we don't get a chance to see what he would have done. More impotent the audience don't have the context we have. They probably saw a kid known for being a rash arrogant ass lifting up his unconscious opponent a hand pulled back, cupped to throw out another explosion who had to be stopped.
Also of note is the difference in how Midoriya got Todoroki to use his fire side vs how Bakugou did. Midoriya talked about living up to the idea of giving it your all, respecting everyone else fighting there and how the power is Todoroki's.
Bakugou basically kept going "It's all about me and what I want!"
That sums it up better than I could
I don't think the audience particularly cares why either Bakugou or Izuku were goading Shouto on, so I doubt that influences their opinions on anything.
They know they were both doing it and from their perspectives it was probably for the same reason.
But really, forgetting the way he said it, because I don't think it matters, I still can't find anything wrong with what Bakugou said here. He has not obligation to care about Shouto's feelings. Yeah, it'd be nice, but it frankly has nothing to do with their match. Or it shouldn't, anyway.

Yeah, I don't see why he needs to play therapist for Mr Daddy Issues here.
Not being a self centered asshole whose every thought is "ME ME ME" would be nice. He only gives a shit because he's cheated of his precious victory. He's not entitled to that either, but sure as hell thinks he is.
And Todoroki is not obligated to give him the fight he wants. If he becomes less of a self centered son of a bitch, fine. As of now, he's worse than Sasuke was.

Well, the thing is is, in this case it is about him. Well, it's about both of them, and he was giving it his all, he expected his opponent to do the same.
I also fail to see what's wrong about wanting to win on your own terms and focusing on that in a tournament.
Yes, Shouto's feelings and actions are completely understandable. And yeah, Bakugou is a dick. That doesn't mean he's in the wrong here, either.

Well...tough for Bakugo. Todoroki had bigger issues than Bakugo's dick measuring. He was under zero obligation to deliver Bakugo the fight he wanted, solely so Bakugo could win more glory.
Bakugo ends up screaming like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way.
Yeah, that did look more like he was going "What? That's it? Get up man I know you've got more than that in you."
