Now, on to the IMPORTANT questions, right; what's your favorite color spread? The color pages for this damn series are so good.

Its sad the color is taken away in the physical copies.

Damn, there are so many of them....uuuhhhh....shit.

My favorite one is either the Hero VS Villain confrontoh spread from the school trip, the one with a battered Class-1A charging while a weird mega cow does its thing in the background, or the one where they "strut their stuff" in those hip casual clothes.

You mean the one where Denki is just randomly floating?

The ones that stick out to me is all of the League of Villains vs. the students and teachers on the trip, or the one for the first popularity contest.

I liked the VA villains vs heroes spread during the training camp arc. Actually, this week's color page (Izuku and AM sitting under a tree together) was pretty nice too.

Anyway I'm really looking forward to how All Might will answer Inko's concerns. He didn't seem surprised at Inko's refusal at all, so he probably expected something like this and sent Aizawa away so that he could bring out his secrets if needed.

IMO, MHA's take on "hero" is that heroes are supposed to ensure peace and sense of safety in people's hearts. While Deku has been learning and doing a lot as a student of heroism, this is one front he has been failing spectacularly on: bringing peace to his own mother. I hope they'll try their best to alleviate her fear and come to an understanding, because otherwise Deku would be aiming to bring peace to undefined future mass of people while turning his eyes from one person who is clearly suffering for him.

Started the anime last week and then started the manga after I caught up with the anime, and just caught up on the manga, I'm loving it.

All Might is the best.

So who's hoping that the original Noumu comes back? Especially after watching his battle in the anime, I miss the big lug & the fact he is really cool & badass. Especially now that All Might's depowered & since Shigaraki is leading, the guy's gonna every advantage & man-power he can get.

Also while reading volume 4 of the manga 9I bought the copy a couple of days ago) I noticed that the tournament has a lot of heroes in the spectator section. Now I don't know how people the stadium can fill but I know its more than a ballpark & it seems crazy that all those heroes operate in Japan (there's enough to make a small army). What if a lot of them come from oversees & just came over to Japan to see the tournament & see which of the next-gen to recruit. Especially with the knowledge they bring over cheer-leaders from the U.S. it makes sense.

I guess that's why they were pretty confident the villains wouldn't attack there. They'd get dogpiled by so many heroes so quickly their heads would spin.

Also I suspect Noumu-prime might be retrieved during AFO and Stain's inevitable jailbreak.

My thoughts as well.

Question on Tomura: What direction do you guys want his arc's endgame to take? "Redemption" or "has crossed two many lines for his tragic past to mean shit"?

The latter would be really interesting and heart rendering, but all the pieces are in play for the former to have a shot.

I'd like the second route, but the tone of the manga makes me think it will very probably be the Redemption route.

Whichever way it is go, why do people prefer more cynical options anyway?

Well, I don't like cynicism for cynicism's sake and I am all for happy endings. But the main characters suddenly treating the main villain as redeemable on account of some tragic past is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

I mean, whatever things he might have been in the past, right now Handsface isn't morally better than the Stupid Evil muscle guy and we didn't see the heroes even thinking about redeeming that guy. :P It sort of gets acknowledge In-Universe when the principal stops All Might from searching for Handsface because their sort-of-personal connection would make All Might unable of seeing him as "just a villain".

On the other hand, Midoriya is being set up as "the one who wants or even needs to try to save everyone", so a final redemption it wouldn't feel that out of place in this series. On the other hand, a part where "you might want or even need it but sometimes you cannot save everyone" gets beaten into Midoriya (maybe after Handsface manipulates him into a redemption attempt) would be interesting too. I'd say the series could do either without it being out of place.

Gran Torino actually.

Principal suggested he was saveable due to his mentality after the first attack, but admits he's probably being too idealistic with that thinking.

Do we even know if Tomura has killed anyone besides possibly his parents (by accident no less)? I mean he did give a terrorist threat and nearly killed Tsu and Mineta but that is all we have seen on-page.

The only way I can see him being redeemed is with some serious mental care that would probably take years (and if he even accepts it). He still looks like a young adult (accept for his face which looks disturbingly like the flipping Smiling Titan from Attack On Titan) so that may be possible....

On the other hand his power is absolutely awful for superheroics (he would have pretty much the same exact problem Mina Ashido has with her acid powers) and he is likely brainwashed in the thinking of a villain at this point so killing him might honestly be a mercy sadly enough.....

The one on his face likely belongs to one of his parents for maximum feels, squick and horror.

Hori really likes hands is your answer. He said in one of the earlier volumes how "hands convey as much emotion as a good facial expression". His avatar in the comments are hands on hands, and heck the hands on MHA's characters are actually quite large

Chap spoilers are up. I called Kouta's letter somehow being a factor in the argument. Turns out mommy saying no was just a quick detour towards Izuku's new exciting dorm life.

I'm assuming it's a weird mistake on Mangastream's part of his mom to mention No.13, but besides that it went about as expected. Still good.

Edit: As far as Shigaraki and redemption goes, I'd prefer no. I'd like it if they tried and I won't it to be acknowledged that he wasn't always a lost cause and just because they couldn't save him doesn't mean the effort was in vain, but I'd still prefer it if he stayed on his path.

As Gran Torino said, familial ties and hard life aside, he's a criminal now. Like, a lot of these guys probably have really shitty/tragic lives, but that doesn't change how things are.

Even All Might has admitted you can't save everyone. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try, though.

What a rude lady.I thought that joke is usually done with kids.

It was settled quickly, but still, I glad her concerns were addressed properly and all that. parents being full people is another nice thing about this series.
