Greetings and salutations!

Something I'm curious about: How are you going to gather all the incarnations in one place? Rampaging mythical beast like the 1st time? Or will Pantheon inc. play a more direct role in gathering us?

Not exactly sure yet, but given that we've still got a good week left, I should be able to come up with something.

That the myths have one foot out of the closet in this version should help

I imagine a rampaging beast wouldn't draw Sarah out, since she's not a fighter by any stretch.

And Dr. Meade would probably just laugh at it.

Colours include Red, Gold, Teal, Forest Green, Blue, Cinnamon (the one I'm using), Purple, Grey, White Evil (red on black) and a couple more.

@Stygian Emporer: Just pointing out that the black van in the opening post is not a newsvan. What you're standing on is a different van than the one I mentioned. As for the van in the opening post, that's going to show up again, so I figured I'd better clear this up now before we have any misunderstandings.

Okay, finally managed to post. I hate my computer right now.

I'd like to know exactly how Anansi recognized Sarah as a goddess's host on sight, considering that's not in his power list. It doesn't sound like something he ought to know, so...is he guessing or did you just metagame my face?

Judging from the sign up post, Caleb/Anasi must've guessed, since gods can only communicate with each other "if they're aware of each other's presence." We kinda botched that rule in 1.0

That being said, could I suggest you use the joking mode links? I don't know about everyone else, but when I read your post it sounded a little harsh.

But maybe that's because I'm evil and expect evilness in others!

That aside, I wasn't in the first RP. I don't know what rules there were, and I really shouldn't have to. Ultimately, up into the point where the GM (kkhohoho) says "by the way, this can happen in certain situations", I'm going to assume it can't happen. He hasn't told me gods can communicate directly, so why would I assume they could before that point?

(And if he does, I have some questions for him, because that leads to some potentially awkward scenarios.)

I suppose it's time for the GM to intervene. Here's what the opening post for the 2.0 Sign-up thread has to say on the subject of Godly communication:

So, yes, Gods can communicate with one another, but only if they're aware of each other first. As for Caleb&Asani, yeah, I have no idea how they figured Sarah for a host, because she didn't do anything to suggest that. Everyone else was busy shooting out lightning, poison, etc., so it would be safe to assume they were Gods. But in your case, you've really got no way of making that clear to everyone else without directly telling the others that that's the case. Basically, Sven made a booboo. Now, if you wanted Sven to edit his post so that he didn't recognize you for a God, maybe we could work something out, unless you just want to keep going, with the agreement on everyone's parts that nothing like this will ever happen again.

In any case, I'm going to merge those particular quotes together and edit them so that it's all a bit clearer, so we hopefully won't have a situation like this again.

I'd prefer an edit. It doesn't have to be big; just changing it to something along the lines of "I think I found another god" or "Is that another god?" or something. (If he wants to make a bigger change, that's fine too.)
