Well, at least this time there's a good reason for her not to warn others. Still, I wonder what Taisha is about to do at Yuna's house. surely she wasn't compatible like Togo was. And Sonoko has figured it out. Gods, I love Sonoko. She's amazing.

I just love the comedic timing in this series. Always makes me laugh.
Putting that aside, GODS, the pain Yuuna's going through right now! She just can't grab that happy ending, can she!?
Apparently a recent interview with Takahiro published in Dengeki G's magazine was recently translated, or at least the interesting stuff., it had some information about WaSuYu:
- Apparently Takahiro packed the original light novel full of battle scenes because they didn't think that it would ever be animated.
- He and the production crew also put a lot of thought and planning into the girls' families; apparently Takahiro has the family backgrounds planned to such an extent that another of the writers joked that he could make a spinoff based on the family histories alone.
- They also thought a lot about what kind of family a girl like Gin would come from, and decided that she should have another brother. Also, while the Heroes were taken from Taisha families they decided that the Minowas would be an unimportant branch family.
- Gin's last battle was originally planned for Episode 3, but they decided that they needed more slice of life which led to Episode 3 being a goofy Breather Episode.
The KuMeYu bonus chapter, Yanagi wa midori, hana wa kurenai (Willows are green, flowers are crimson) has come out and its apparently mostly slice of life shenigans, although it does contain Mebuki meeting Karin again on top of the barrier wall; they have a short chat and they promise to meet again later on and have a real chat one day. The Sentinels are also set to be announced as Heroes soon and will be given improved armor and equipment.
Also apparently the Sentinels in terms of power are equal to the Heroes in NoWaYu without their Trump Cards, and while the "modern" Heroes are superior in power Sentinels have an advantage in that they can walk on the lava of outside world while Heroes can't.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.Hero Chapter 4. Suffering suffering suffering. Karin and Sonoko both have some actual sense. Togo is a stalker. Are the Taisha representatives affected by the curse? Is knowing about the curse in general the problem, or just Yuna's in particular? If Yuna drops dead what happens to the world balance? I never did like supernatural forces preventing characters from talking things out in this manner. Feels cheap. Not too concerned about Yuna since Togo will probably blow up the world again to save her. But if things don't work out maybe the two of them can finally get married.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Ah, that explains what happened at the end of the big battle. Yuna was basically dead! And now the borrowed body she has is running out of time, perhaps accelerated by her rescuing of Togo...such a sordid fate.
Heh, Togo knows her Yuna inside and out. ..But just how is she going to save her? Better not involve taking back her role. Cuz that would be dumb.
POOR. KARIN! That is all.
That Karin/Fu ship... doubling down on that, are we? Also, the comedy just keeps hitting at the right moments. They're doing really well on that front. Oh, and Togo is one hell of a stalker.
Can I just say I love the look of rage on Togo's face when they read Yuna's diary? Incredibly well animated. And as usual, all the girls' va's are spot on. Incredibly well done. Karin, especially. Poor girl. That reveal was nicely done, by the way, and it was a good way of explaining the end of the original season. They're actually correcting the part I disliked here. I'm down for that.
Next episode should be the start of the climax. How exactly Togo plans on saving her and what will everyone do is up for grabs at this point, but I'm pretty sure Karin is going to do whatever she can to correct what happened this episode.

I'm just waiting on the MajiYuusha fansubs, because I refuse to subject myself to Amazon's abomination of a sub. It's full-on They Just Didn't Care.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. Are they the ones subbing "Togo-San" as "Ms. Togo" and literalizing a lot of stuff, like turning "Taisha" into "Amnesty"? Because that is indeed getting a bit annoying, but it's otherwise been quite acceptable.
Don't forget going "All-Out" for the sake of Shinjyu.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. Why do I watch this show when all it does is hurt me?
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. It's a good pain. We all must endure it.
Also, you know it's going to be a painful episode in this series when it opens with a happy moment.
What doesn't kill us only makes us suffer—- oh wait.
Togo literally threatening to kill herself if Yuna marries the tree
She really doesn't fuck around.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless.5. At this point the series is just about kicking Yuna over and over again until she's down. And then kicking her some more for good measure. Yuna has basically become what she and Togo hates. Last time I didn't see a way out for the heroes until Yuna Deus ex Machina'd her way to victory, so I imagine Togo will find a way to mostly kill herself this time to save the day.

Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Well, I'll say this. Last season made me think they couldn't possibly have a good ending, and this season seems just about equally fucked.
Gotta say, though... Yuna isn't exactly wrong in marrying the tree. Well, at leasts she wasn't until they made it clear that everyone's going to die regardless. What an Esoteric Happy ending that would be.
So yeah, Taisha being lying pricks again, girls surprised at that, for whatever reason. Big argument, setup for finale, all good stuff. Next episode stuff ends, and I can only hope it's not so much of an Ass Pull as last time.
That Forestize Warning wham would have been far more effective if you hadn't shown it to us in the opening, by the way, guys. Not a very good job there.
Man, Shinju-sama is an abusive god. Really seems more like OT YWHW than any of the Japanese gods
Darkened skies. Torn space. A crimson miasma that threatens to return all to ash. Can the Hero Club find that one miraculous path where they all will be happy!? I hope so...
At this point I would prefer a gigantic asspull to seeing Yuna cry more. This is bad for my soul.
Fight for something, even if its meaningless. The classroom scene is so beautifully painful for everyone involved. Even (or especially) that little part with the uncharacteristically reserved Karin trying to say something when Yuna snaps back at her, with Karin timidly apologizing.
It would suck so bad if that was the last real conversation Yuna has with everyone.

Classic ending, not sure how to feel about it
The only resource you need for tropesFinal episode. Once again Togo is willing to let the world die, followed by Yuna asspulling her way to victory. I more or less saw that coming. And the Taisha is mostly gone while the world is still fucked, only slightly less so. Don't really get the cosmic stuff, but I don't think I really care. Meh ending overall, though still better than the first season. As for Hero Chapter as a whole? Some decent drama in the middle, but overall it was once again the Yuna and Togo show, this time guest starring Sonoko while the other 3 play bit parts. Could've been stronger, though it's still one of the better darker magical girl series.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Well, that kinda kills off any chance of a third season.
Did Yuna become a godess for a full minute there? Should we warn the Trope Pantheon about this? She kinda went full Madoka there before going back to normal.
Oh, and Karin, what do you mean with "Once in a lifetime rampage? That's the second one you've done!
So yeah, incredibly sugary happy ending there. I can totally buy it this time, though. The heroes coming back as somewhat foreshadowed, and given the context, it actually made some sense. Shinju temporarily merging with Yuna also made sense. The whole "Yuna punches the enemies so hard she creates 10 thousand acres of further land for everyone" stretched credibility a bit, but it's passable. I did kind of hope for a better epilogue, though.
I can dig it. It's not amazing, and I certainly prefer the first season, but it's a decent enough end to tie things off with.
Now to hope they animate the other things in the franchise.

Decent ending, if a bit rushed. I think I understood what happened
So this was a good story that really wanted to be a movie. Instead we got a mini-series and pacing problems from trying to adapt the idea to an episodic structure. Still better than WaSuYu
Hero Chapter 3. Keep alternating between Yuna and Togo fucking up, and at this point it's apparent the world itself is out specifically to make them suffer. At least let someone else in on the fun of screwing things up for everyone.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.
