We need names and terms for the soldiers, military and equipment of both nations so as to make clearer lines and for fun.

Lemme start of by saying the Blanche military perhaps uses knightly/roman terms and names to make them sound and seem much more imperialistic.

Anyway, since there are flying cars then hovertanks and related vehicles in the vein of Star Wars repulsorlifts must also exist. Unless caterpillar treads and wheels are much more rugged and reliable than hovertech.

Hovertech is more common.

@104: Hey to avoid the clusterfuck we had in Beacon with its crazy worldbuilding, could we have it so that for worldbuilding that affects anything big (something more than just a person's own character and backstory), or something that isn't really relevant to anything happening, we give it a little time to have people in the affected nation provide their input or at least just glance over things?

And Questor, man, your name sounds super familiar, have we been in any RPs before?

Also Solus, I doubt we need second characters with how big this looks like it's getting.

• Personality: At the very base of her being, taking away the manner she was raised and her experiences, Ekaterina is a good and empathetic young woman. Kind, friendly and loyal. Over that foundation, however, was raised a princess who one day may become the ruler of all of Blanche. Order was her entire life and Order she has embraced to heart. She had developed her keen mind to understand and apply rules, regulations and to organize with a proper system the world she dwells in. Methodical, proper, elegant, dutiful and responsible, these are the values set to Ekaterina since she has use of reason. She's keenly aware of the expectations and responsibilities awarded in her position and as such strives to fulfill them to the letter, at times to the detriment of her health and to the building of stress. While she has a more fanciful side to her, cultivated in her early youth when her overprotective parent treated her like the spoiled princesses of tales, lately she has had little time to indulge in anything other than her job. From this time, she has developed a bit of weakness for jewelry, fine clothes and decadent sweets... on her free time, she can be quite a stereotypical princess, delighting in looking over fine pieces or having a relaxing tea time with a tray of sweets. To contrast, however, she also has gotten a taste for physical activities and sparring. Dueling and combat simulations are thrilling as they push her skills to the limit, on single combat and also on devising a strategy. Fortunately, on the field of battle, with true stakes and responsibility on her shoulders, all enjoyment leaves her mind as worry and stone cold concentration take over. While she works herself harder than she ought to, she has been trained to be completely responsible on what's important, thus when a battle or important meeting is in the horizon she will forcefully tear herself from her worries and work to rest, even employing self hypnosis or sleeping aids to force herself to sleep the full amount of time to keep her mind and body sharp for when she most needs it. She has no fear in delegating work and trusting those around her so far as they prove themselves loyal and competent... indeed, the system is made so that all parts work in tandem. While she has forced herself to study a passing familiarity with most subjects out of her duty, she knows her limitations... and given how strained her time is as it is, she is more than grateful for the people around her she can rely on. Still, she prefers to have that basic knowledge so that when she receives advice, she can understand where it comes from even if she doesn't 'check the math' herself. While kind and well meaning, life as a princess has made her sheltered to the life and culture of the common folk to a certain extend. She's familiar with soldiers, with the battlefield, but the life of a 'commoner' is one that is as distant and mythical as is hers to a countryside urchin. Furthermore, her sense of duty usually impedes her from expressing emotions she feels would be unbecoming in the symbol she is to be for her people, causing her to bottle them up until she can let them out in solitude.
• Skills and Equipment: Ekaterina's time has been extensively plotted out to give the new heir the needed skills appropriate to her rightful place in life. She has a thorough high level education, additional to arts a refined lady is meant to be acquittance with, such as dancing, manners, singing, playing the piano, poetry and painting. However, all of those things she has merely touched upon, gotten to know and learn without mastering, though some she has taken to to a greater or lesser degree. Her true training has lain on statesmanship, economics, tactics and the art of combat and war. She faced a strict regime to keep her body fit and strong, and countless hours of swordsmanship technique and sparring have been stuck to her mind. She has learned the basics of most Blanche machines of war, some more extensively than others and thus knows how to aim, trigger discipline, weapon management, driving, piloting and other such skills, though she's not ace at them she can perform competently on the battlefield in any of those roles. Going on the frontlines as the newest wielder of Solaris, her loadout varies depending on the situation, however, her preferred equipment is a top of the line power suit of armor to protect her body as she wields Solaris in both hands.
• Bio: Since the moment Ekaterina was born, her life had been plotted out to her. The Princess of Blanche, she was to be groomed to be the Light of her People... even more so when after years, no siblings were born to share the load of their position. While as a young child she was spoiled sweet and much looked after by her father and mother as their precious Princess, as the years went by it became clearer she would be the sole heir to the Empire. Thus, her education was to be fit for a future Empress. Her days, from dawn to dusk were carefully planned and adjusted to her development and learning. From Mondays to Saturdays she had lessons and trainings, honing her body and mind, carefully grooming in her a sense of responsibility. Much care was put not to break her, but to instead make her embrace this Order, this lifestyle of learning and self improvement. It was an arduous project, with more than dozens of people carefully laboring to make sure she pushed herself to the limit without adversely affecting her. Sundays were her day off and yet, rarely did she do nothing or even pursue her interests during this day... instead her parents always had some activities to keep her entertained... and to subtly continue her education. A dinner with a noble to learn and practice courtesy, a visit to the countryside to learn the land, a shopping trip to hone her bartering skills and eye for art, craftsmanship and price. While a hard life, it is all Ekaterina knows and as such, she has become a creature of Order, loving her parents and country with all her heart. For while she has had work, she has also been very privileged... always looked after, always enjoying the greatest comforts and luxuries when possible. And at heart, she's a good person who has taken her duties to heart... duties to her people and the ideal of a truly just and ordered society a beacon of Light against the Darkness. All her life she has been training for the moment at hand, polished like a diamond under pressure, slowly cut into the jewel she must become. Now, grieving the death of her father, holding onto the last moments together with her sick, dying mother and with the whole weight of a nation on her shoulders, Ekaterina must prove she can rise to the challenge... as long as she has loyal, good people at her side, to keep her from falling.
