this one is 2 years after the first, thats not that bad.
The thing is that the Sonic comic was very recently rebooted and has yet to finish its first major story arc (it's sort of a Myth Arc), and the Mega Man comic JUST got to the Mega Man 3 story.

Well, 2 years isn't exactly short but yea....kinda eh on this in general.

Considering my enjoyment of the last one, I eagerly look forward to seeing what can be done a second time around.

Out of curiosity, where did the Mega Man X story hint at it happening?

That but as well as that when xander was tumbling back into the present he witnessed several events in megamans future....one of them is megaman meeting "anthromorphic animals" and since its megamans future it couldn't have been the worlds collide crossover

I know but the scene in question is xander payne falling back in time from xs timeline to the present and the "animals scene" is clearly seen after events unfolding in the 3 adaptation

Hmm. I feel that the spectacle has worn off, somewhat. If Archie can get the rights to Mario and do Sonic/Mario then I'll be hyped.

not really. he makes sure to save their ai chip plus they need to be stopped
From what I've read, any time Mega Man gets nonchalant about 'killing' robot masters its because his programming is being corrupted in some way.

It just feels odd to me because the one time this got brought up in a game, Mega Man nearly shut himself down after Wily pointed out that he'd killed a shitload of robots to get to him.

The butchering that has resulted in Sonic being one of the currently longest running series in America?
If you mean the Power Fighters, Mega Man himself pointed out that he defeated the robots with no hesitation. (And everyone else cheered him up while Wily used the distraction to get away.)
On the OTHER end of the scale, there's MM 7's ending, where he tried to kill Wily even in the Japanese version.

According to IGN, the base Sonic and Mega Man universes won't be alone this time, as the Sonic Boom and Mega Man X universes are also going to be involved in the crossover.

Someone get to editing the trope pages cause I can't be bothered to at the moment. I wonder if this will become a yearly event. I hope not XD; My main problem with another crossover is that it's so soon, and they'd have to try and top the first one somehow.
Hopefully the Mega Man characters and world will get more to do. I feel like they got the short end of the stick in the first one, especially Wily and Roll.
