Not the wrong place, but I've not seen the thread before now for some reason.
Anyway, to add a page to an index, just go to the index page, hit edit, and add a link to the trope you want on that index at the appropriate location.

And after indexing, do a blank edit (just save the page from the edit screen without making any changes) on the indexed page to get the little indexing thingy at the bottom of the trope page.

It's never worked out without a blank edit in my experience, but I don't do indexing every day either. But hitting F5 or clicking the refresh/reload button is just an extra second, so it couldn't hurt to try it that way first anyhow.
