Well, at least Chloe knows now. Actually, I hope we get all the characters to know by the end of the season, so there aren't any more secrets. Well, "secrets" since he doesn't actually lie about anything, but nobody believes him anyway. But it would be nice if everyone believed him.
I would like them to show how met Mazikeen and Lucifer.
That could be interesting. Even if it boils down to Lilith being like "Hey boss, I forged a new demon, her name's Mazekeen," watching her crawl up Hell's hierarchy and gain the Devil's attention would be fun to watch.
The problem is that I doubt the show has the budget to set a significant amount of even one episode in Hell.
Bump.
Lucifer season 4 is set for release May 8th. Ten episodes, with a mid-season break after #5. Inbar Lavi was cast for the character of Eve (as in Adam and Eve), Vinessa Vidotto has been cast as Remiel and Graham Mc Tavish as Father Kinley, a human priest.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Does look good, though I'm not super enthused about the recent trend of having Eve be this evil and/or hedonistic monster. I guess they couldn't use Lilith for the same purpose because she's Maze's mom (I would like to see Lilith eventually, just having her be Lucifer's girlfriend would be weird with Maze around), but still. The Bible already has far too many evil women, they don't need to retcon one.
Boy did this show anger me on first watch.
I don't think it will on second watch though

Season 4 is out.
The first episode feels like they directly addressed a lot of the criticisms I've seen about last season.
Also shipping Maze/Amenadiel/Linda slightly more than last season.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobWell then. That was certain a season that things happened in.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I just binge watched the entire season yesterday. That was intense. Do comic fans actually like that ending? As-is I find it unsatisfying and really hope we get at least another season, even if it was a solid finale for the show if they don't get renewed. It just didn't feel like a good payoff for all the UST between Lucifer and Chloe.
I would give almost anything to end the Chloe/Lucifer romance.
It is worse than Ollie and Laurel.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I have no strong feelings about it really.
I like both Chloe and Lucifer as characters and it was neat the Reveal finally fired, but honestly I've been more down for a Dan or Ella reveal for a while.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobFifth and final is a go. [1]
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Sweet! Let's see what kind of ending they can pull off for this one. Fact is they already had a decent ending, but this one'll be on their terms.
I had some... massive misconceptions about the first episode. Actually turned it off halfway through because I was furious and started screaming at others about how much I hated the show. Probably the maddest I've been at a work of fiction in my life.
Then once I cleared up those misconceptions... wow, am I glad I stuck with this one. Just finished Season 1.
Care to elaborate?
You lost!Sounds like me. At first I wasn't down with a British night club owning Satan, but I wasn't going to dissuade my family from watching it, so I powered through and got into it once the dynamic between Lucifer and Chloe really got rolling.
I admit I was very glad this was Gaiman Satan and not the eternal misanthrope from the Lucifer comics.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. When I first saw the opening scene, I thought "Okay, total douchebag, he's gonna bribe cops and get his way and do all sorts of mean and petty shit For the Evulz, and no one's gonna stop him from being a fucking monster for literally the entire series because he is literally Satan." And that colored my perception of the first episode so thoroughly that I shut the episode off halfway through and started screaming at everyone I knew who watched the show, because the character pissed me off THAT much.
Then one of my friends calmed me down enough to point out what I was misinterpreting. I gave the episode a second chance, then watched another, and another, and just kept going. I have a very hard time getting my attention span to stick with a series, but I just found myself increasingly captivated by not just Lucifer himself, but also by the various elements building around the police procedural show formula that I already enjoy on its own. I had Lucifer himself all wrong, and the friend who recommended this show to me in the first place made it very clear how wrong I was. Especially as I saw the dynamic between him and Chloe grow, along with the development of everyone around him (Maze, Amanadiel, Dr. Martin, Charlotte, etc.). I don't usually do douchey characters, but the more I see him, the more I like him and understand his nuances.
The show so far has proven to be exceptionally well-written, with a lot of emotion, excellent pacing, and plenty of witty dialogue to spare. I'm 3 episodes into season 2 so far and I don't think I've hit a bump yet. For someone who's never had a predilection for episodic television, I think I made a great choice.
Huh, funny. The opening scene is what got me interested in the show in the first place. I saw it on You Tube.
Then again, I enjoy fun douchey characters. In fact, Lucifer is my second favorite fictional devil. Number one is Ray Wise from Reaper. He is always having fun with screwing over the main characters. Even when they try to antagonize him, he doesn't mind, because he is so much above their level. There is actually just one scene in the entire series where he really gets angry.
You lost! That sounds extremely one-note and uninteresting.
Honestly, ever since I got a feel for this show, it's Maze who's been the hardest sell. She seems like she's still mostly just an icy unlikeable bitch, but even she seems to be slowly starting to come around for me.
A concept that I would like them to bring is that of a group of demons who hate receiving orders from an angel.
All the demons introduced so far, even those who betray Lucifer, have no problem with him being an Angel.

Final season will now have 16 episodes instead of 10[1]
I'm almost done with Season 3 and haven't hit any bumps yet. This show absolutely has me hooked. It's funny, it's dramatic, it's fun, and it's got more twists than a large order of curly fries.
Ba-bump. Season 4 is expected to start some time around this spring. Only ten episodes though. :(
Spoilers here-in.
Pointless love triangles and more angelic siblings will ensue.
