The current image seems to work well, for me, actually. The pose is an asskicking one, he's carrying a weapon, looking intently into the camera, and the beard is very noticeable. While I'd prefer the Ganondorf one, that's only due to fandom preference (though it was changed without discussion, that's kinda rude). I honestly think the current image shows the trope well enough and does not need to be changed. I had no idea who the hell it shows or what he's from until I read this discussion, but I still got his entire example of the trope before reading the caption. Said caption I also find to be a little humorous extra that doesn't necessarily clarify or explain any further than what the image has already done. In my opinion, none of the suggestions add any more conveyance of badassery than the current one does, and the beard is obvious enough. The image just generally looks better as well, without trope considerations, in my view. I vote not to change it at all.
