No spikey anime hair. 0/10.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! So he's got Tim Drake's costume but Dick Grayson's hair. Not a bad design.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. One day we will get the pantsless Dick Grayson we deserve again.
i don't mind them giving Dick longer pants but they could still make his costume less like Tim. Of course there's precedent for this with the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon.
To be fair, while Dick's costume is probably still the more iconic, Tim's is the more visually impressive - especially to a network. Solid color arrangement mixing dark and light and all.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I wonder if that's going to be a lasting design, or if we're going to have it transition to Nightwing before long.
Rumors circulating about Donna Troy appearing on the show

"Hi, my name is Donna Troy. Don't ask about my backstory. Just...don't."
That's interesting because so far none of the other characters in the cast other than Robin are sidekicks/legacies. Would they establish the Justice League exists in this world?
They wouldn't necessarily have to. The Teen Titans 2003 series never showed the Justice League. Or any adult superheroes besides the Doom Patrol for that matter.
That was part and parcel of the 2003 show's really, really, nonstandard take on being an adaptation, though, which hasn't been repeated by any adaptation since. Most later takes on the group have endeavored to be more comics accurate - which included not taking such an extremely isolated take on the group to the point where they cut out almost all heroes that weren't the Titans.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. This will depend on what characters the show has access to.
Not necessarily. You can establish that characters exist without having them be used onscreen.
Like how the Teen Titans were mentioned as existing in the DCAU on Static Shock, for instance, even though the DCAU had no intention of actually using the characters (since, iirc, by that time since the Murakami series was already using them).
In any case, I doubt access to characters is going to be a big problem for this show. Except Kid Flash and Speedy, barely any Teen Titans related characters are being used elsewhere at the moment. Barely any of them have any exposure at all (again, thanks to the classic show only adapting a small portion from itself only a couple years of a single run of the comic), so it's doubtful DC is going to be interested in stopping them from using anyone they want to.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Even then, if they wanted to, Kid Flash and Speedy would be perfect crossover material.
Supergirl attempted the same thing in its first season by referencing Superman but never showing him, but they eventually bit the bullet and had him appear in person in Season 2 because it was getting awkward.
Speaking of which, it sounds like Batman will appear, at least in flashbacks.
Dove's shades could stand to be a bit smaller in my opinion and not crazy about Hawk's hooked helmet nose . Otherwise, not too shabby.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Seamus Dever joins the cast in a recurring role[1]
With this being separate from the DCEU and Arrowverse, will Titans be the start of a new DC live-action universe? Maybe they could call it the Titanverse. It seems to be the case with all of these characters, and rumors of a Hawk & Dove spin-off planned. What do you guys think?
I'll wait until I've actually seen an episode before I start thinking about spin-off potential, let alone a whole universe.
Most of the characters with enough content to really own shows from the Titans already have their own series (or have related series), so I doubt it. I'd watch a Wonder Girl show, though.
I mean, Robin / Nightwing could. But who knows if they're allowed to specifically spin off into any specifically Batman mythos series with Gotham still around.

Probably shouldn't expect anyone from the recent Gerard Way run, but...
Robotman is a must, right?
Didn't see that coming.
