This one time I wondered what it would be like if there was another Saiyan saga. That would have been pretty cool.

If you've seen Dragon Ball Z, then you know the story: Frieza feared that the Saiyans were becoming too strong, and blew up the planet to wipe them all off, sparing Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz to use as his personal henchmen, feeling that they were too weak to stand up to him. And thus, all the Saiyans have died.
Except for Goku, who was shot off on a Rocket to Earth.
And Tarble, who was a disgraced to his daddy and sent away.
And Turles, who is a Space Pirate that Frieze apparently never had to deal with.
...And Broly who was banished away because his power was feared....
Do you see where I'm going with this? Sure, I'm willing to accept that 2 of those people were anime only-I think-it doesn't seem to be completely impossible for someone to leave Planet Vegeta, especially with how often the Saiyans probably did leave the Planet to do their jobs for Frieza.
It's highly unlikely that anyone actually liked Frieza, much less wanted to take orders from him given how prideful Saiyans can be, so them going AWOL and staying that way is pretty possible. And people could have been sneaking off world to mate or mate on the planet and leaving their children where Frieza can't get them-Bardock can't be the only one who thought maybe their kid shouldn't grow up to be Frieza's next foot stool.
