It's wrong to screw with other people's minds. So the good guys don't do it.
The laconic is perhaps downplaying it a bit, but there is no inconsistency.

Agreed, no real inconsistency. However this restatement is a much better candidate for the Laconic than the current one.

This is a problem involving inconsistency between the lead and the Laconic. Specifically:
So, the lead, as I understand it, is a defiance of the Laconic. This subtle difference may affect how different example are played....any idea on this? Thanks!
