This is the page that used to be "You Fail Gun Safety"

I'm not calling for a return to the old name, just a change to one that is not hilariously inaccurate. This page used to have a Real Life section that was so huge that it ended up being far larger than all the fictional examples. While the rules for sensible gun usage are simple and well known, it is most certainly NOT the case that professionals universally or even regularly follow them, and therefore things like poor trigger discipline in a fictional work do not constitute a gross departure from reality as is implied by the title. Poor gun safety by pros is most definitely Truth in Television, so either:

The page title needs to be changed to something less inaccurate; or:

Most of the examples in the page need to be purged to accommodate the fact that really only firearms instructors demonstrating poor gun handling constitutes as Artistic License.

I'll note that the original change from "You Fail" only came about because someone thought that the YMMV tag applied to whether the guns were being handled unsafely (which was never in dispute) rather than whether or not it was realistic to have guns handled unsafely (which it most certainly is).

Artistic License tropes do not have to be a gross departure. They simply have to be inaccurate to fact.

No evidence is offered to support a claim that the name is misleading, confusing, or poor.

Declining to open.
