[SPOILERS]: The Smash 4 Leak thread.

The basic concept of a land and flying creature teaming up to battle is probably what they're going for with Duck Hunt, similar to Banjo & Kazooie. Probably all they meant anyway, as a fun joke.

And I am loving that Dark Samus alt.

I always liked how Samus's alt colors looked in every Smash game. Somehow, even though they're largely the same as before, they look even better in this game.

Although I've always wondered: was there really nothing in Metroid that's green that they could have used for reference for her green palette? I mean, not that I'm complaining or anything; I assume that there is something they could have used but just went with the original Smash Green palette for the sake of a call back (similar to Mango!Sentinel's colors being a reference to a palette [and meme] it had in Marvel vs Capcom 2).

On a side note, I hope Mario's "reverse" colors from Super Mario Bros 2/his older game appearances have a version that includes his red hat this time (it's usually his Blue Team color, so it always had a blue hat in Smash).

I love that it's official that each character has 8 looks total, but i'll say this much: The one thing I don't like about Jr. having Koopaling alts instead of color swaps is that it would mean only one player can be each character at a time. No having multiple Roys, Mortons or Wendys, just 1 Jr., 1 Iggy, 1 Ludwig, 1 Larry, etc.

On the plus side, even if we didn't have Koopalings for alts, Jr. being in would mean we can finally have a Good vs. Evil team battle with Mario Bros. vs. Bowser Family.

My first thought went to Metroid II: Return of Samus, but most of the screenshots I find for that game seem to be in black and white (rather than the Game Boy's normal green tint).

That's because the screen on the original Game Boy was was a weird tinted thing. The game data itself is white, black, slightly less black and even more slightly less black.

You can play VC Metroid II in its original weird brick green by holding L+R and pressing Y. Just thought I'd leave that there.

For green Samus colors, there's Weavel from Metroid Prime: Hunters and the Varia Suit as it appeared in Metroid: Fusion: yellow-green with pink spots.

Now that the leak is more or less confirmed, should "possible" be removed from the title?

No full list and no, in that order. There were still characters to be unlocked when the leaker got caught.

And it's unknown if this is the final roster, since one of the leaks connected to this one had the same lock on the "All Star Mode" as the recent pic of the day had that meant the roster wasn't complete.

Anyone wanna predict the remaining few characters who haven't been unlocked yet? I still have a feeling them Chorus Kids will appear. Still rooting for old characters like Mach Rider and Stanley the Bugman though.

I'm still holding out for Dixie and something Rhythm Heaven related.

I still can't help but think when it comes to Gematsu/Sal Romano's leak... I mean yeah, it got Chrom wrong, but there was a lot of stuff it got right, including Shulk.

Blasphemy! Both of them lacked Ridley

Assuming it's a perfect grid that gives us 53 characters+random. My picks for the last five are Ridley, Isaac, Mewtwo, Ice Climbers, and Wolf. Sakurai probably won't go with that though.

In a perfect world for me, it'd be Ice Climbers, Wolf, Ridley, Isaac, and either K Rool or Dixie. I predict, however, that the Chorus Men are prooooobably in, and I find Isaac rather unlikely at this point, sadly.
