I preferred the years I had it early, actually. It was easier on me to do physical activity in the cold versus later in the day when it was hot.

I did like how it tended to wake me up for my later classes at least.

I've sent messages out to the three who haven't posted yet, though checking their post histories none of them have been especially active this past few days. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon.

It's the first week of school, at least for me, they might just be getting back in the groove.

What role could a former US army commander serve for NERV?

Definitely something in Tac Ops. Is that what you had in mind for Loke's dad then?

I'd personally recommend a high level UN position. Makes just as much sense and sets up the potential for intrigue and conflict between him and his daughter + the rest of the cast.

He wouldn't have that sort of clearance, but he definitely has the resources available to put the pieces together if he's a smart man. How he reacts to that is up to you. Wait, you're the one playing him, right?

Alright, looking forward to where this might take us. Just run anything you're going to do with him by me if it's going to be particularly impactful on the plot, like sending in a mole or something.

Hey, I'm thinking, can we flesh out some more school NPC's to be used and controlled by the players? What do you think?

I have already given you guys blanket GM permission for Atomic's plan, btw. Just run the NP Cs through here first before debuting them.

Hey, how detailed are these baseball and classroom scenes going to get anyway? I could probably act as a consultant if we have scenes taking place during actual games (I don't play, but I do follow the sport pretty closely), but I mean, I know we're not running Big Windup the RP here.

Also, I'm sort of hoping to get Gabe some meaningful off-work interactions and socializations with the other characters eventually. I know the slow pace hasn't really allowed for that yet, but it's where I was hoping I'd work in his character development.

I should probably eventually explain why the Kinipelas all have scars.

They exist more as a place to explore the socialization/relationships of characters versus for the action of the scene itself. We could have one at least partially done baseball game, maybe two innings and then skip to ninth. Just as a 'team' scenario sort of deal.

Benjamin Notes AKA "Doberman": A gifted athlete born from an afroamerican diplomat and a japanese politician, Ben fashioned himself as the king of School. Egotist supreme, he takes pride in his physical frame that dwarves most people and his rebel attitude, as a means to draw attention from his workalcoholic parents. His reign of bullying came to an end when Eikichi managed to defend against him, and he has resented him ever since. He's 16. He does have a few redeeming features, such as a hardboiled chivalry sense and code of honor. He is also surprisingly good at History and languages.

Umi and Kimi Miyagi: A couple of identical 14-year old twins born from a scientist couple. They're well versed in Biology and first aid(as both have expressed interests in becoming Physicians later on). With average but curvy builds, round faces, and expressive hazel eyes, they're on par with the class idols in terms of cuteness. However their insistence of sharing boyfriends in a double or none kind of deal has led to a rather... difficult history of past boyfriends and now approaching them is considered very foolish or suicidal. Both also have the maddening tendence of finishing eachother's sentences. They are considered unbeatable in team or pair games. Umi has a beaty mark on the left side of her upper lip and Kimi has it on the right side.

That's a very quirky cast there. I like them, just accept that they're not main characters and will probably die come 3I.
